The host is a real d-bag, smiling wrily as he speaks to everyone but the skeptic. Oh, and lol to the last comment: what happened to the picture. It's called tracking error. VHS.
The host (Kerry O'Brien) is actually a highly respected Australian TV Journalist. He has now retired from Lateline, but in his day, he was a very incisive interviewer who cross-examined all interviewees. He was particularly adept at grilling politicians from both sides of politics. In this interview, I would say he looks bemused, as he is really looking for compelling information. I don't believe he was taking sides with the skeptic. He was never that type of journalist.
