He was going well until 7:30- 8:00 regarding the enslavement of Africans and 'cheap labour' and 'starving people'. This is inaccurate and reductive. Not to mention an extremely dangerous analysis of the institution of slavery in the Americas.

devang sanatkumar nanavati... slaves were free labour rather than cheap labour, the Atlantic slave trade to the Americans was driven by greed and European settler colonialism in the 'new world', millions of humans were kidnapped and then sold into slavery (not because they were hungry)... etc Therefore what he has said is not only inaccurate it is reductive and misleading especially to persons who may not be exposed to the history of the Atlantic slave trade and the subsequent institution (300 year+) that followed.

@@MsCinderella1989 i think he meant by cheap labour is that he didn't talk about dkabery as a part, but in Britishian eyes it must be cheap labour as the propounded theiry guven well known proffeser talk made racism theory where he talk about things from American where they do thisnk slave as a cheap trade and as in the novel name bluest eyes written by gomi Morrison, you van notice as how they were forced to work, discriminated and yes there was no way fir them to go back too. He explaned is fir america they were cheap. As cargo which used to transport them and the Britishian talk about them as a labour and as he talk amerucan history asany movie, book has been written which show jow British and american deprived black people, they killed native american and lastly he meant that how american see african as cheap labour but it changed with time because african get to know about liberty and human right. And as you can great person name abhraham Linkon who fought against slavery. The awakening of african started as they grew in population and information. Multi culture as you know african, native red indian. All of them are discriminated as time goes by industrialization develop itself to make market it turn awakening of some kind. African where not cheap labour but as american and britian dehumanize them. Slavery should have put here but he avoided it maybe fir convince as it break the from American freedom story to african freedom story. Perspective of american on that time matter if he said that they were slave it can mislead to that they are not paid but they were paid kergly for overwork. What he Meant is. Uprising of african
