It is great to see the progression. The fans deserve a nice facility. However, It is time to get it done. This has been put off far far far too long.

I hope they're studying the effects of wind and evening temps for a location next to the water. We've seen the impact of Oracle Park on offensive production, and how much of an significant change there was from simply closing up the gates and the arcade last season

I'm not an A's fan, but this is truly impressive. I hope the city and team gets this done. Oakland was robbed of the Raiders (they never should've left and I hope you all stop cheering for them as they left you twice!) over stupidity but I know you all are diehard fans for your teams. Pulling for this beautiful piece of architecture to happen. Oakland deserves it.

I love the idea of incorporating the cranes into the look and feel of the area because it is such an icon of Oakland. Last year when I opened Stadium Club baseball cards which are famous for their outstanding photography and you see cards with photos looking up at a player with something like the St Louis Arch looming in the background I cannot wait to see Stadium Club baseball cards with our players and the cranes in the background. Hopefully they will keep the cranes painted nice. I haven't looked at any of the dimensions but I hope that the lower lines in the outfield actually allow balls to be hit literally out of the park. there are a few places around where you can actually get a home run ball outside of the ballpark and I think that is awesome.

If the cranes are no longer in use and the structure can support the weight they should build a restaurant platform on at least one of them similar to the restaurant at the space Needle..

Let's hope there isn't a wind tunnel effect going into the right center field area; knocking down any fly ball in that direction

Not an A's fan but I hope they get this. Same with Tampa too. I want the stadium sagas for both teams to end positively. no relocations, and move on to expansion for the league. The only thing I don't like about this Howard Terminal stadium is the fence in right center...is it a chain link fence? looks like a fence you'd see at high school baseball game. just looks a bit like an eyesore to me, but overall, looks really nice!

the final draft of an oval stadium looks awful. You can design better or go with the first plan, dude. Anyways... this seems like a mess I think they don't get passed or approved when it's all said and done with. Oakland has other plans and why they don't build on coliseum site is beyond me. It should be coliseum site or bust because it would happen easily. Howard terminal is a reach and I don't think it will happen

I said the same thing about new Yankee Stadium. I lived in Highbridge #BXNYC while it was being built. I played ball in Mullally Park, the site. I used to ride the 4 train every day from groundbreaking through completion. Got the ultimate elevated view of construction. When they broke ground I wondered how in the heavens could they fit a whole stadium on that little piece of land. Needless to say…

The only thing stopping this is Oakland themselves. Build it cos the A's are your only revenue generator left

This looks so much like the Coliseum and its style. why are they even building a new ballpark if they're going to just do that again? What you call modern is cheap and has no class.Generally that's the way modern architecture is and has been since the 1960s. this stadium will fit in great with Safeway and Walmart and other buildings like that - cheap throwaway crap. It doesn't even look like a baseball park. I'm not going to go to this. I'll go someplace else. I might even go to Minor League games, but I'm not going here. The original design, with a roof over the head of the fans to protect them from rain and sun so they don't get sunstroke or skin cancer is what would have made it different than any other ballpark on the west coast. people my age aren't going to go to a ballpark like this and sit in the Sun and shrivel up and get sunburned. I'm certainly not going to do it. This, to me, looks just like another mall that's going to be abandoned in a short time. Forget it.

No cranes, make it an amusement type ballpark. Put a roller coaster 🎢just beyond the open space in the grandstand. Each time a player hits a home run you can have a clown ride the Rollercoaster.

With this design, I think a person can watch a game for free. The person can walk to the ballpark on their lunch break, catch a few innings and then go back to work.

Annnnd once again our hearts ripped right out... There is no way this will happen now that MLB has the A's looking at other markets. Some other city is going to offer waaaaay more than what Oakland can. We are screwed once again...

I can see the outfielders losing site of low fly balls in those yellow seats - especially on a sunny high sky day.

Really can't get behind this open Right/Center Field setup. It is better than the the straight up center field opening from the previous rendering, but definitely bothers me. I get that it is to take advantage of some views. Would like though if there was at least 1 level of seating that wraps around the entire field. then have it open above that level of seating. I guess I am refering more to the look from within' the stadium.

Very nice looking renderings, hopefully they can keep the park space clean and free of tents if it does ultimately come to fruition. As an Oakland resident, one can only be all too aware of the plight of green spaces in the east bay.

the ballpark is beautiful, hopefully they build it, i notice their are only 5 light towers, where as oakland coliseum has 6 light towers, hopefully 5 towers are enough to light up the field
