Marsh when Isiah was on the roommates podcast one of the questions that Joeh asked him was "would you take a pay cut to stay with the knicks"? He said "Yes" Now mind you this was during the regular season
Where is Alec Burks, is he a free agent, has he been picked up? Did the Knicks resign him for 25? No one, anywhere has mentioned this cat since the playoffs. Please help, it’s like a song stuck in my head, I can’t remember the name of. HELP!!!
Find a way to trade Robinson ASAP to open up cap space. He is too injury prone. The best fit is Andre Drummond who is still relatively young and productive and also from the NY area.
Ihart defense is not better than mitch..youre smoking crack rocks and I know you watched the philly series. Its your literal job..so you say what I saw...embiid vs ihart shot over 50%....embiid vs mitch shot 34%.. turner vs ihart again shot above 50% . wtf u on about
Mitch will always be the weak link as his foul shooting ability has improved only slightly over the years. This weakness will always be exploited. Woops … clank goes the ball off the front of the rim. Unfortunate but it’s reality.
If the KNICKS don't re-sign IHart. Then keep Mitchell Robinson as your starter. Pick up Mo Wagner. Re-sign Precious. Trade Sims, Duece and the two 2nd rd for draft picks. Sign Kyle Lowry
IHART would be a fool to pass up a chance on a championship for some extra cash. Instead he should do a one year deal with the knicks at a reasonable rate THEN go get EVEN MORE MONEY on the market next season.
@JuanSuero-ln9vr we haven't won a championship in years and if we take it all next season he could be a part of history for the team to actually bring one home
@@bklynyktv9293 IHARTs meeting with people and doing what he supposed to ... and as a standup guy hes going to come back to the knicks and lay out all the offers on the table and be like.. do your best. Right now the knicks are being very creative with future brunsun, moving picks, just looking for every nugget they can get to him on and off the books. IHARTS gonna get paid anyway especially if knicks win a chip with him here. and whats the point of a pile of money when you cant even spend it all cause you live low key. get the chip and always remember that. if you go to GOlden state youll hate life. sure youll win games but you dont know those dudes over there, maybe they dont even hang out.
I love Hartenstein… and this breaks my heart. It has been amazing to watch him just get better and better. He stepped up when they needed him big time and I wish they could reward him accordingly. He seems to love being a Knick. Robinson is a beast but he’s not reliable at all. We also don’t know how Randal is going to fit in to the new configuration with JB at the center. He seems to have a good attitude about rejoining his teammates but… what they did this season was magic. I’m not sure if it was despite losing Randal or because Randal was out. There is a new VP of sports medicine and hopefully Robinson and the whole team will benefit from that.

And he's not improving. Mitch at his very best is still a liability at times because of his low offensive IQ and horrible free throw shooting. He's a weapon, but he shouldn't be finishing games...or even playing late in quarters when the team is in the bonus. You need a second good center if you have Mitch, ideally.
@@Michael_Page Listen we all love Mitch but there comes a time when you just have to call a spade a spade. Hartenstein is just a better center than Mitch. Hartenstein shoots better reads the game better and passes the ball better and he’s also a competent shot blocker. Mitch isn’t improving because he’s always injured
@@chrisconnors9449pacome is 6’6 I wouldn’t say very tall… he doesn’t fill the void of a center and isn’t that big in size only 18 yo he wouldn’t be much of a needle mover for this scenario
@@BrooklynKnicksFan With all the talent on the Knicks all Ariel will have to do is stay in the paint, catch the ball and put it in the basket.. just his presence under the rim alone will have defenders second guessing..
Andre Drummond hands down. He'll be cheap and he's still productive. 17 mins a game the dude averaged 8 points and 9 rebs(3 offensive) Plus he played in 79 games. He won't need to score. Compare his stats to IHart's and he's actually more productive. Plus he's a NYer
@@BrooklynKnicksFanHe's washed? The dude played 17 minutes a game last season and averaged 8 points and 9 rebs(3 offensive). That's all the Knicks will need him for. He's still a rebounding machine
@@johnstrika9170 he's a no Hussle type player, his persona don't fit and tibs would get tired of his low effort plays.honestky the best team for him to play on imo would be the heat under Erik spolestra
Are you on drugs?? Hartenstein CAN’T SHOOT! They’re are so many bigs that have a jump shot and rebound. Hartenstein had a great series against a limping Embied. I actually like him but not for a ton of money!
Thx you some body knows IHart only plays good with smaller guys he is weak n doesn't have a post up game or a short jumper he only averaged 10 points a if that so why give him top dollar he not worth it
Knicks need depth, we need to protect ourselves in case we suffer injuries again. If we lose iHart, Achiuwa and Burks, we will only be left with 8 good players in the rotation, and this season has shown us that it is very necessary to have 10 to 12 capable of rotation. I highly doubt that we will not have casualties due to injuries again.
Mitchell Robinson is a complete zero on offense & he can’t be on the floor late in games because of his atrocious free throw shooting & he is always hurt. They will not win a championship if he is there starting center this upcoming season, no way, no how.

Andre would be a good fit, he can fill in the rebounding void if IHart leaves. Plus he's just big and nobody can move him he would be a great back up for Mitch
Drummond or Mitch would be fine. Both would be awful. That would mean the Knicks have a horrible free throw shooter on the court at all times. Mitch getting amazing offensive boards only to get fouled and miss both free throws most of the time was so frustrating to watch.

The. KNICKS DONT NEED HARTENSTEIN. HARTENSTEIN IS A BETTER OFFENSIVE PLAYER. THAN MITCHELL ROBINSON BUT. MITCHELL IS A WAY. BETTER OFFENSIVE REBOUNDER AND DEFENDER. PLUS. ANDRE DRUMMOND IS OUT THERE FOR CHEAP. AMONGST OTHERS

If he tears his cranky achilles or breaks his leg, then he's completely screwed. He definitely needs to strike while the iron is hot. He's getting the 💰 now.
Hartinstein was will to stay with clippers for far less. He's not leaving us. We can pay more that clippers offer he was willing to take. If he's smart. He won't. He's look good because of the coach he plays for. Believe it. Thibs can make another hartinstein.
If I Hart leaves, which I don't blame anyone for getting paid, we have to go sign Andre Dummond. Dude isn't what he used to be but is still close to a double double and will snag rebounds for us.

Honestly, I'm starting to convince myself that it's time to let Hartenstein go. Although I prefer him to Mitchell, I understand that it is easier to find a free agent scoring center than one who is a good defender. And doing that wouldn't lead us to release another important player - like McBride. We stay with Mitch and trying bring in 2 other free agents to help add depth to the team, a center and a power forward would help. What I still don't understand is whether Burks and Achiuwa will continue with us or whether they are leaving.

Knick mgmt is obviously best in class. I just wonder why they didn’t consider Dukes Filipowski in round 1 instead of an 18 year old future project. He could’ve slotted in nicely with the anticipated loss of Hatenstein
@@soramirez5473 PG Brunson, SG Bridges. SF OG, PF Randle C Robinson/Ihart Bench McBride, rookie PG. Divincenzo, Hart, French Rookie wing, American Rookie wing. Precious, Sims, German Rookie. I'd say at least 2 out of the 4 rookies play in Westchester this year
@@combodad2235 ok. 11 mill left before hard cap. we got 11 players under contracts already. IHart is an unrestricted FA. 11 mil to fill up the center spot (Mitch is too injury prone) and the rest of the roster. I hope they trade Randle.
@soramirez5473 I thought you were going to say something stupid or condescending when I started reading, but I'm glad you didn't. I've been saying trade Randle basically since he got here. It's more likely they let Hartenstein walk, if so I like Jaylan Smith he can run the floor and especially stretch the floor and even though he's a little undersized defend and rebound. Plus he play the 4 and the 5
No offense, but you are just saying words. It's not more than likely he leaves. It's possible. OKC would be foolish to bet the farm on iHart. They might offer a hefty 2 year deal, but giving iHart a better 4 year deal than the Knicks' 4/72.5 wouldn't make any sense. Not enough shooting with iHart, SGA, and Chet in the lineup. They would be banking on Chet and/or iHart significantly improving from the outside. iHart is coming back y'all. Stop the madness.
Trade Randle. unless he coming off the bench to lead the 2nd unit. or is OG or Bridges coming off the bench? Maybe we get a good piece back that wont stop the ball, and will play better defense. plus free up cap space to sign Ihart and fill out the rest of the roster.
I’ve been talking up Jalen Smith as our potential back up 5 for a minute now! I don’t think he’s going back to Indy under no circumstances. They already have Isaiah Jackson backing up Turner, and still have to bring back Obi. Smith is expendable. He definitely would not cost much and he’d be a good fit.
THE TWO BIG TIME DEFENSIVE WING PLAYERS THAT THE KNICKS HAVE RIGHT NOW WERE MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY THING THAT IS GOING ON PERIOD I WILL SLEEP A WHOLE LOT BETTER AS LONG AS OG AND BRIDGES ARE THE PIPPEN AND JORDAN OF THE NEW YORK KNICKS
Hartensteins great but I don’t think he’s make or break for the Knicks or any team. Definitely want to keep him, but we still have Mitch and more offense with bridges being added to the team. And more cap space if he goes
