seems like frescos should be protected from people directly touching them

I was in Pompei and where there are frescos there is a guy who keep an eye on tourist and yell at people before they touch the walls. There is also ropes like in museums on front of the most important ones and you need to stay 3/4 meters away

@@Incorruptus1 well bro they survived 2000 years under the dirt I think if you take them out you have to take the effort to preserve them. Because once excavated if you leave them to the rain and weather they won’t last another 100 years let alone 2000. If they don’t have the money they should leave it underground for when they have funds. Only good think is that more than half the city is still underground maybe 100 years from now they will excavate it all but it’s difficult you have to buy the land today it’s private and some even has house built on from the 20th century when they didn’t care about preserving things too much.

Research a bit more you will find they are actually perfectly preserved. Enclosed, and with ruining what is left on the sight, you will get in to trouble since it is kind of hermetically sealed off. The frescos left are either covered up, shelters put on top, and so onward. It's a bit too much assumption what you say here. Maybe do a little more research.

I spent a full day in Pompei in 2023. It' s really an amazing place! Couldn' t see everything. Missed lots of interesting details. I may have to go back and continue my tour. Ostia Antica is also an interesting city to visit . 🎉❤

It’s not Colcheez, it’s Kolkhis/Colchis (Latin). If you can’t say the Kh (same as in loch) used in both the Greek and Latin forms, use the K sound, it’s not the English ch sound as in cheese! I suggest you look up foreign words, it takes 2 seconds on the internet!

Geez, whats with the clickbait thumbnails? Where's the bodies? Thumbnail shows bunch of bodies, yet not a single one shown. 👎
