I REALLY love these edits, I think they are some of the best content in pred but I just disagree so much with some of the placements. It's an odd crossroad where I feel like the content is made damn well but I simply cant agree on a lot of the placements. I'm considering doing a kinda "reaction" video to this tierlist just to offer some added commentary on the placements and rationale behind them. (Currently at work and can only skip and not listen sadly)
Its Krashy -> I really appreciate you taking the time to look at the content and saying its some of the best content in pred -> So disagreement is awesome cause it creates dialogue, The Tier list is an accumulation of a lot of stuff, it accounts for win rate, try's to accommodate for some competitive/skill concessions but still integrate PUBs with general population stuff, Then there's the projecting on what we think is gonna happen with changes. A lot of crossing ideologies and with quick format its kinda hard to provide enough context. i would love to see your reaction but i would want to debate/defend our position. would you be down for a watch party where you can flame me in person?

Zarus is a good bruiser support with mobility and crowd control also his ultimate is really strong in team fights I don’t really think he makes an real impact on the game depending on his role because even in the jungle or offlane he is best builded as a bruiser so the only way to play him as support is because you didn’t got jungle or offlane but still want to play him so it works barely but he needs a bit of skill because you shouldn’t full dive into the enemies like it’s possible with some tank characters I wouldn’t recommend building him full tank because his lack of crowd control in relation to other supports would make him just an easier target with less damage
Friend picked it like 6 months ago bc he wanted to try some non supp in that role. went 16/1 in duo. Complete massacre, they couldnt even walk up anymore

I'm a carry main so I'll only comment on that. Drongo in B tier with Revenant is just a lack of due diligence and is giving players horrible misinformation. You have TwinBlast correct but Drongo is the second strongest carry currently so I don't even know how he ended up in B tier. TB and Drongo should be the only 2 S tiers. Murdock Wraith Sparrow and Kira A tier. Wraith is easily as good as Murdock and Kira if not better it is just very dependent on player skill. Grim is B tier currently. Hitbox is way too big making him much too easy to kill but he can pump serious damage if not quickly dealt with. Revenant is an easy C tier and probably the current worst character in the game. His entire kit is horrible. He is only playable vs garbage tier players. Versus players with hands this character is absolutely worthless and will get walked down every fight. He is the worst ADC for killing front liners outside of maybe Wraith but Wraith has flank pressure and can assassinate the back line. Revenant has nothing. Unrelated to the list itself, the effort you put into these videos and the quality is fantastic. You clearly took motivation from SkillCapped League videos which is smart.
First thank you for your comment, I know you’re passionate and love the game. I am gonna try and be as direct and honest as I can be because I hope you can understand 2 things can be true and I hope to gain your respect because I want you to return and enjoy our content, I also don’t want you to lose confidence in the time and effort we put into our tier list. I’m a support main and I can tell you I despise supporting drango, his mobility range and sporadic play style is so hard to accommodate that I’d rather see any other champion next to me - bias aside we identified his win rate show cases a lot of positive trends and after my carry who is a Sparrow main played a wealth of games he suggested the champion be moved to A-Tier, patch just dropped and damage nerfs were applied, instead of just moving him I felt like waiting was more responsible than putting him into Good when he could just as easily remain just avg, I’d rather recommend players play Twin Kira and Murdock and have people wait to dust off the utility carry drango. I also thought about how recommending a champion with multiple skill shots and an ult that repositions you away from fights could effect the avg Joe. We are revamping our criteria for this list and trying to make it better which is why we made a easy to expert video where we can remove difficulty of use out of our tier list and make the list just relate meta strength for the skill bracket of our audience. In summary ease of use, pending nerf, and considerations for supports went into keeping drango in B rather than moving him to A. (He’s in a higher tier next tier list just so you know). We aren’t perfect but we are getting better and the next list will be better than this one.

4:54 I'm glad you mentioned Zarus support. I really like Zarus he matches my playstyle some what. I play him in offlane a lot but once a saw a video of him in support and tried it, its really fun. I feel what makes him a good support is that he can poke the enemy carry pretty safely, his stun is great and you can dash from a far distance to get that stun hit. And lets not forget his ult is a bigger and better dekker cage. Assuming you kill the cage target Zarus is gonna scale with that. I'd argue he plays really well against Riktor but that still depends on the skill. Lastly, I feel you can build him to fit whatever you might need on the team.
Thanks so much for putting this!!!! My biggest gripe is when my carry is poorly positioned and I have to engage the enemy to try and get them off him - I feel like one stun just isn’t enough to disengage consistently and god forbid you miss that stun 😂. Dekker has a stun and the cage, narbash has stun and speed up, Grux has smash n grab upper cut and ult, steel well he has all of that and more. Zarus feels like Muriel to me where people run at my carry and he just dies. I’m glad you’re finding success with him!!!
I'd argue he's worse than Dekker in pretty much every way! He can poke, but so can Dekker, and that's not a support's primary job. More so, Dekker is still arguably better here as she has a ranged basic attack that could fill this role. His cage is his bigger, but it's his Ult. Dekker has a cage on a cooldown that is a fraction the time. His (1) stun isn't ranged, while Dekker's (2) stuns are. If you like Zarus support, I think you'd be better off trying out Narbash, Steel, or Dekker due to their district similarities but massive advantages in viability.
Been watching your vids recently, keep up the great job. Definitely wasn't expecting this video format, but it follows the same format of some of your others, so i was down for it; However, I would have liked to see the closing remarks section for each Role, that had all character portraits ranked on the grid, with some final thoughts. Just my 2 cents, it's the least i can give in return for the solid content. Hope this game thrives, i've been having a fantastic time on it. Cheers
Yeah that was a struggle placement cause rev can easily be up a tier, we descided to be super critical with him because he is so good when he gets ahead but has a lot of obvious limitations when he’s under fed. Most new champions tend to take time to break the game and we have a sneaky suspicion that with the right cards and support that he’s gonna do just that. We said he should be the same tier as rev but we are placing him temporarily above in case the broken character build / combo happens
eh as a carry main your core items on grim should definitely be tainted rounds imperator and dust devil easily. against another good carry playing grim if you build those items and theyr building attack speed? you’ll lose badly seeing as though your auto attack is only scaling off of 2 items (imperator and mindrazor) imperator also wont get the best value as you only have 25% crit chance grim needs to make sure he has good amount of physical items before putting on caustica imo as well. personally i love it at 4 or even 5th slot. carry tiers seem alright too
@@swypht yea the minute you put on a magic item your auto attacks wont go up. but in the same breath he needs something like caustica for the pen. but i think that should only come after you have built up enough physical items because his autos only scale off of them. he’s definitely confusing some people on how to build, ive seen full on magic builds on him and im like man you arent doing any damage auto attack wise lol

If You Can Steel you can grux -> knock up + smash and grab + ultimate is a long time for a carry or support to be held in place + natural raw dmg and natural tankiness when compared other supports you just punish aggressive behavior. build involves boots that pull people - reducing cooldowns stacking health and armor and when you get focused and fall below certain health you get big shield and have aoe stun, all the while you keep peeling for the carry and repositioning people to keep him in a safe spot. its wild fun and i know a lot of people may snub there nose at it but god i play it into everything and be whooping everyone.
Ive watched three tier lists from “high level” players for this game and they were VASTLY different lol. Yours has B drongo, other had, and other A. Who to trust lol. I dont use these for actual picks anyway, just wanted character overviews. Good video, great editing!
So most tierlist try to be objective and blanket state strength -> consumer sees list and plays strong character so he can succeed. We are invested in the success so We think this is “normal tierlist’ is flawed because blanket strength doesn’t account for relevant ease of use or Time On Champion required to be successful. So our tierlist try’s to account for this (work in progress because we are trying to find a better criteria that holds up to more criticism) We don’t want our community members to waste 100 games on a “strong character” they were never gonna be strong with. But rather recommend a champion that’s just as strong - takes less time to master - and has a play style that requires less time to understand -> then correlate that with strength. we are more interested in our recommendations outcomes rather than their blanket strength. But for logical consistency we have found a better way of presenting this moving forward. And are gonna try to continue to develop our content so it can help more people
@@swypht thats why I like people who explain characters. Like saying “they are strong” doesn’t mean they suit my playstyle or suit my level of time investment. Its just interesting that everyone has a different rating, which is why tier lists mean nothing without qualitative explanation.
@@requiem9167 oh I get it, the market is super saturated with master players making 45min videos. I want to be respectful of peoples time while attempting to try and provide as much information as possible. When we are inbetween patch changes though we try to make more content aimed at facilitating information that’s more qualitative. We interview good players have them break down there fav champ. We try and do a chill vod commentary and intermentl provide tactic strategy and other secondary researches to promote growth and learning. But I appreciate you commenting- I think your point of view is super valid and a continuous place of improvement we have to consider moving forward

Love the quality of these videos, but these tierlists are out to lunch man. Zarus in B tier in Offlane? He’s arguably the best currently. Grux in S tier in Support? He’s BARELY a support. Drongo as the lowest ADC??? Tell me you don’t watch or play comp without telling me you don’t watch or play comp.
Shinbi was C tier in all roles in the last video and not its A tier? When nothing evrn changed This makes way more sense, past video Shinbi ranks where absurd Super cool form btw, the edition is top tier
We are trying to dial it in!!!! It’s a work in progress!!! through comments we see -> we go back to the drawing board every time and try to make the best list we can with the information we have, verify information -> ask questions and try to make updates as we come across it and as the list gets better it’ll be more accurate and hopefully help more people. Hey that’s a good fucking point shadow, I think we are just being hyper picky to differentiate between the smallest of margins here. Good gadgets are crazy good but I think there are some limitations regarding burst, mobility, and mana but your right maybe she might get update up a little in the future!!!

So Khai is an OP champ but also a low Elo Recomendation as well, so our list is general opinion of what general player base should play (there are some exceptions like wraith , riktor , etc that go against the general practices for one reason or another) With these exception we take a bias that is influenced by as much data as we can muster and either stear people to them because we believe they will have a positive contribution or we flat out dumpster them because we don’t think people should even look at the champions direction. Example if you hit every snipe with wraith he’s the most oppressive (he has no real down side and can play into most matchups so I believe the community can reach a high level of play so we have him High, killari is another example of a very strong champion with a strong skill ceiling but I don’t think everyone can get to a high level of play with that champion and will most likely create more problems than solutions in most games so we dumpster that suggestion, riktor same thing high skill champ that is F tier if you miss pulls but I think anyone can get good with him so he’s high on the list. There are also exceptions like Grux support where we have a high level of success and the ease of use is crazy easy to learn so we have fun and put him high- then there’s champions like Zarus that we know should be good with and know people are good with but we haven’t been able to make it work so we don’t know what to do with them. So u til we can find a teachable method of success we table them as weak, Everything is a work in progress and we are learning everyday and trying to get input from more people everyday so that we can aid the community

Omeda.city is a 3rd party website that utilizes API data provided by predecessor. In this website you have access to every champion crest and item and how often it’s played and how much it wins
So there is an artificial ranked 3rd party site called Omeda City that utilizes API data from the game and provides an mmr system where you can see your internal data compared to others. it also has a item builder as well as match history with replay id’s. It’s a non official structure but it helps provide enough information to provide ideas/ concepts

Best way to describe it - This tier list is not 100% objective, it provides a general landscape for the general player for roughly 90% of the champions - we try to recommend players away or towards certain champs that have high skill expression. The tierlist is a work in progress and sometimes we get things wrong (shinbi last patch) but the list is constantly changing do to new insights and conversations- we are trying to tighten up our criteria so that the list can stand up to more criticism but it’s only our second tier list. We will get better with time 🙏🏻

No there is website that uses api data that creates an artificial rank system (nothing official) but it still acts as an agent that tracks win percentage and relative success

Oh man that’s a loaded question -> Kwang use to be a God because he was durable and had high damage out put with mobility and distance damage -> he was a lot of players wet dream -> if your a feng Mao guy you understand how to survive and probably have a lot of outplay mechanics dialed in. You will be just fine playing him because they moved his play style to less durable damage dealer. But for people that don’t know how to play like that safely they will struggle a little bit because there use to him tanking and killing
@@swyphtto start off he's tanky, does amazing damage, has a great escape, has a cc ability that roots people,and his passive and siphon allow for great self sustain. He's also insanely easy to pick up and is outright just better than everyone in B tier
@@yorukage5926 valid, what are your thoughts about stacking out of the jungle vs stacking in lane and difficulties for most to juggle ganking and farming and not falling behind. Have you compared clear speeds ? Have you built him more like an assassin like khai or zarus and seen any changes to his strength?
@@swypht I build him to be bulky, Flux matrix, Fire blossom, elafrost, and frosted lure are my go too must haves to beef him up even more along with the ability haste make him even more dangerous. His farm is slow at first as it is with all roles until his damage ramps up, though with siphon and his passive he can get a bit of extra permanent health easily along with the health he gets with level ups. He ganks really well with subjugate and it's root easily locking down an opponent to let your team and you get major damage or even a kill. Unlike most junglers his cc and sheer bulk is what makes him a threat. Plus his ultimate having the ability to send enemies flying into your waiting teammates or a situation where they can't escape is another upside. His basic attack is lacking yes, though a single downside won't put a scratch in his mountain of upsides. If more people played him they'd see the threat of a well built sevarog out weighs a threat of a well built crunch
@@yorukage5926 so this is why we have him where we have him. Jungle meta has shifted to be a bit more aggressive and fast pace, and severog clear is fairly slow early. The jungle is pressing more towards an invasion style with more coordination looking to slow enemy junglers down and remove them from play, if you get interrupted at all in your first full clear before you get brimstone your gonna be farther behind then you’d like to admit and that is often enough for the other team to snowball the game beyond what a sevy can real back in. PLEASE don’t discredit yourself because I think two things can be true and the picture you painted is a world I love ❤️ but we have to consider the devils advocate too.
@@swypht i don’t like playing female characters that don’t have armor or are not suited up somehow Not a fan of tacky half naked characters its getting old and unrealistic in combat games
There are hero statistics by rank, there’s item statistics, there’s even match up data to include win rate against mirrors or not , hopefully this helps

We also intentionally lead people away from certain champions like killari - but we tell people to play riktor who with time anyone can master. It’s muddy but we are in the process of tightening up our criteria and how our visual represent our recommendation (asterix on skill champions) especially in our short time format.
