Just like i said, the axing of students graduating and switching directly to the skilled worker visa via the care visa and graduate students switching to care visa is coming. The report captured that aptly. Theres also a HO document that analysed that yesterday. The loopholes will be covered.

😲 It is tricky to navigate because some people are pursuing a Masters in Health and Social care, it would be unfair to pass a law that says they can’t pursue a career in their area of specialisation. Such a law has to be fair to everyone. Passing a law that one must switch to their visa sponsorship area of their specialisation is unfair. Besides this, there is an aging population and the NHS is short staffed, they need people. If you pull out all the care workers in both the NHS and private sector who completed a Masters degree in the UK or their partner graduated from a UK university, the health care sector in England will be in serious crisis. Let’s wait and see. That is why the MAC said that they should think things through before they include any changes in policy. Thanks for sharing!

@@postivity9279 my brother this is not Nigeria. The government act whatever recommendations they make. The reason why they were establish is to collate date and analyse them to make changes and adjustments. Last year they investigated the student route, propose policy to cut net migration which included putting a cap on the threshold and banning dependants from coming with health workers. At the end of this latest report, they even demanded for the updated list of the recent changes so that they document it. I have been in this country for awhile. Government does not make decisions without consulting or acting on data. Already there have been sections from the public institution who have been voicing out against these decision. Scotland and Wales MPs were vehemently against this. It will be rational for the government to act on no reasons to effect any changes on this route. All these are just been made to gain trust ahead of the elections. Everybody knows the economic implications of scrapping this route.
