During our trip this summer to the Peak District we spent a day walking the valley of Lathkill Dale just south of Bakewell, exploring some of the many abandoned lead mines, an old ruined house, dating from the mid 19th century which was used by the mining company plus following the beautiful river that follows the course of the valley.
