Hello! Eh Up! And how ya Diddlin!? In this weeks video, we go looking at what lies beneath Bakewell. Bakewell is a gorgeous little town in the beautiful Derbyshire dales, it’s that gorgeous we decided to go beneath it lol! In truth, what lies beneath Bakewell, is a fantastic old Chert workings. Holme bank chert mine. This was a great exploration. On the day, we were joined by Gareth from Thee Walk. I’ll leave a link to Gareth’s channel below. I hope you enjoy the video. Cheers, Steve ❤️

This was a great underground explore Steve. It's amazing to think what's beneath our feet and that all of it was created by candlelight with picks and shovels and the odd bit of gunpowder here and there in the early days. Proper grafting in those days...🤔👍🏻
