I agree with you. I also use the hard style insert you have (mine are Superfeet brand) but if I'm going to be on my feet for a long time I need to add something soft to offer more support and cushion. Saving your feet can save your hunt.

A few years back I was in the market for new hunting boots. I had it narrowed down to Lanthrop and Sons, Schnees, and Crispis. After doing some research I came across a boot comparison/ review of the Lanthrop and Sons boots by the Mindful Hunter. He had a negative experience with them and he talked about it on his podcast. Not a big deal, some boots aren’t for everyone. The interesting part was that Lanthrop and Sons supposedly contacted him about the review and threatened to sue him if he did not take it down. What does that say about that company? I will never do business with a company like that.

That’s interesting. I don’t know enough details to make a judgment. I know this is a new boot that they have who makes them in Italy only for Lathrop & Sons. I really love this boot.

well that was different, i wonder how they will do against the cinder block...lol. but seriously i always wear muck style boots when its not super cold out, they aren't the most comfortable, but they always keep me dry even if i have to cross ditches or rivers and stuff. the $10 off code makes me think these must be very expensive, i assumed they would cost a lot less than $10.

I would like to see a comparison between these and the sheep feet insoles. Both seem similar and high quality, high cost

Do you pull out your boots original insole or do you stack it on top. I have some crispi wild rock plus which are already comfortable.

It depends on the shoe. But I typically take out the factory insole and put in these. That works especially well if the factory insole has worn out a bit.
