Actually we are. America is charitable and very forgiving. We understand people make mistakes and believe in second chances. That is a great virtue. But, in order to preserve that level of decency, there must be accountability.
Yet , the gentleman states that he is a US Citizen. You state that he overstayed his Visa. So you're saying that US Immigration made an illegal immigrant a citizen? No , he couldn't have overstayed.
@Userpqvqyvt Here is how it went. He overstayed his visa, which made it illegal for him to be in the USA. Eventually, he applied for legalization. He had to disclose how he got across, which led to a fine for overstaying his visa. He was sent back to his country to wait for the approval of his application. He was approved and granted a green card. After 5 years of legal residence, he applied and was granted citizenship. People from China and India do it all the time. What I understand is that the many come and claim asylum. Therefore not illegal. A US code states that to claim asylum , you must do so while in the US . Republicans should have accepted Senator Langfords immigration Bill.
@@Userratoli No, I didn't get that from this interview. I happen to do work in this field. Southern border migrants are illegally crossing the border, that makes them, you guessed it. There is the legal way to claim asylum. Go to any port of entry (US soil) declare your intention and file paperwork. Illegal crossing is a violation of US immigration code. This includes overstaying a visa, fraud marriage or simply jumping over the border fence. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you have no idea what was in that immigration bill, and what it was tied to. All Biden needs to do is enforce the laws that are already in the books, he doesn't need anything from congress.

when you break the law you lose your rights to liberty because when you are caught they put you in jail. when you break into some ones house you don't have any rights to stay in that house. the cops come and remove you from that house.
