Arnle Pineda is the longest serving lead vocalist of Journey. As they say, Steve made Journey but Arnel saved Journey.

Arnel Pineda and all the Pilipino Artists/Singers are not only GREAT SINGERS but also and most importantly are GREAT PERFORMERS. They don't just stand there like Lamp Posts, their bodies are also singing with them, if you know what I mean. I remember when Journey's very first Concert with Arnel in Chile in 2008 when all the Members were so worried that Arnel may not last the night because he was all over the Stage, jumping, waving, hopping and all that body gestures. And after the Show they were all happy and satisfied and the rest is history.

Arnel submitted his resignation to Niel and journey this year but they did not accepted his resignation they add a new singer as reliever to arnel and also castronovo helps sings, I'm happy that journey still have arnel ..

I think that's just a rumor sir. They have a new album coming out and they are on tour already this year and he is under contract...they just played iHeart festival here in Las Vegas last September and Journey has a multiple show residency at Virgin Casino in December....I have tickets for one of those shows, Arnel better show up. Ever since he started and they go on tour Deen was already singing a few songs live and there is always an extra keyboardist/singer that they bring along just like they do now. I was in a show back in 2017 at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

I was on a train (abroad) with him once. He was so kind to say hi back..but sadly we didnt get a picture with him since he's in a such hurry to his gig. He rejected us in a very kind way.

Such a Cinderella story. The fact also that Steve Perry has given his blessing publicly to Arnel during the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame induction. There was a lot of push back from the die hard Journey fans because Arnel is the total opposite of S.P. But once he opened his mouth and sing....proof is in the pudding. To this day, Arnel is still so humble and still in awe that he's the lead singer of Journey. And their lice performances....he's meant to be on the stage.

When he told Pilipinas to sing with him… oh hooo oh hoooohhh, the amount of Filipino pride he must’ve felt and every soul present, it was the entire universe singing at that very moment and I wish I was there balling my eyes out. I remember watching all the zoo band videos before he was chosen to be journeys front man. Even back then I wished the entire world gets to hear him too and gets lost in his emotions.

From Texas. I am a huge fan of Arnel and Journey. I first heard the band play in 1973 or 4 before they had a lead singer or became popular. Neal Schon, who is the founding member of the band, is the only one left from that time. I love Steve Perry, but for me it’s Arnel. He has such an incredibly beautiful voice, it takes my breath away. He has done some really good solo videos during the pandemic. A cover of Abracadabra come to mind. You should watch some of them and let us know what you think. Forever a fan.
