DAWN was in the group PENTAGON, but back then he went by E’DAWN. The group that he was in with his girlfriend (HYUNA), and his former member mate (HUI) who is also the leader of PENTAGON, was called TRIPLE H and HUI and DAWN did the subunit while DAWN was still in PENTAGON. They were both originally under Cube entertainment. HYUNA was originally under JYP, but then moved to Cube and was in a group called 4MINUTE and she was also in WONDER GIRLS back in the day WONDER GIRLS first and then left (2007-2008) than 4MINUTE (2009-2016), than a Solo Artist. (2017-Present) 2018 was when it was confirmed that Hyuna and Dawn were dating since 2016 that same year in October was when she left cube and joined P-Nation in January of 2019. And Dawn officially left Pentagon in November of 2018 and joined P-Nation on the same day Hyuna did, and then proceeded to be a solo artist starting November of 2019.

I got mega GD vibes from this. At first I had assumed that Dawn and Pentagon (the idol group he was in before Triple H) we’re in YG. I mean both him and Hyuna have such an independent vibe that totally go with YG. Also, además del grupo en el que estaba con Hyuna (Triple H, creo) pertenecía a Pentagon. Que antes del “escándalo” había apenas empezado a tener popularidad por su canción Shine, en la que personalmente me interese precisamente por la voz de Dawn, la tonalidad y textura de la voz era súper diferente a la del resto del grupo, además de que hacia el coro entonces era lo que todo el mundo cantaba
