At some point Enrique was definition of English music for us, not sure whether my fellow Indians agree or not. At least for me he was. I am talking about Bluetooth era!
Exactly same for me... He was really famous at that time. His songs become famous after Akon, Britney Spears, Shakira, Justin Bieber. At that time I was in school and I thought they were all english singers... 😂
Oh i remember this when it came out 🤣 i prefer the og version though. Enrique use to be quite popular here in India when i was in school. Like 5-6 yrs ago. This was remotely done, coz the clips of Enrique are all from original MV. And Sunidhi did her parts later. Enrique has twins + a younger kid. He still does music in Latin industry, he did do a recent album but said it wud be last plus it didn't get any sort of support from the label i believe 💀

I don't think that this video production was live and by live, I mean both of the music artists were together for this particular project. It completely looks like a remote addition of Sunidhi Chauhan's part on top of the Original Music Video.

in 2002 i was 15 years old. There was no significant internet to speak of or anything. Still, I knew Enrique Iglesias because of "Rhythm of Divine and Bailamos" . If you look technically those songs are almost juvenile but my point is that even before the age of internet Enrique was famous, even in small cities of, India. To be honest though even vengaboys BOOM BOOM BOOm was famous in India at that time. But in any case Enrique was a new addition because his songs( though technically not very advanced) were different than usual party songs like I am a barbie girl and Boom Boom Boom
