All the girls I’ve loved before - Latin lover and wise cowboy. Interesting combination. Julio also has a great duet with Dolly - again an unusual pairing that works very well! Julio’s voice is very different to his son’s and dad has a stronger Spanish accent. You guys should put those on your list - Julio/Willie and Julio/Dolly.

I seem to remember he and his dad sang a few songs together when Enrique first started his career. Unless it was a dream(it wasn't) their voices were smooth as Tennessee whiskey with some wild honey.

"Hero" was first released on 3 September 2001, just eight days prior to the 11 September attacks on the World Trade Center. Due to the song's subject matter, it was one of the few songs chosen by radio DJs in New York City to be remixed with audio from police, firefighters, civilians at Ground Zero, and politicians commenting on the attacks. Iglesias was also asked to sing the song live at the benefit concert, which took place on 21 September.

This is one of my favorites by Enrique. "Escape", "Bailando", and "Tonight" are amazing too. He is married to tennis star Anna Kournikova, and I'm pretty sure he was never married before. Certainly not to J-Lo, you might be thinking of Marc Anthony.

Enrique is a great Latin artist. I love Esperanza and Bailamos. My all time FAVE Latin artist though is Ricky Martin - The Cup of Life (Spanglish version), Living La Vida Loca, Maria, Feugo De Nocha Niva De Dia, La Bomba are ALL amazing - and I'd love a reaction. Marc Anthony - You Sang to Me, Jon Secada - Angel are more fantastic Latin artists. And Carlos Santana plays guitar on an awesome song called Hold on.

No this is not J Lo's husband. That was Marc Anthony. This is the son of another famous hispanic singer...Julio Iglesias. Both him and his father sang both Spanish and English songs. His father was famous in the US for singing TO ALL THE GIRLS I'VE LOVED BEFORE with Willie Nelson. Enrique became very successful around the same time as some other Hispanic singers like Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin.

That was actor Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler, Iron Man 2) slapping Enrique around. All I can tell you about Enrique is that he is one of two sons of Julio Iglesias (check out his song To All the Women I’ve Ever Loved Before). Enrique has a brother named Julio, Jr. I believe he is also a singer, but I am less familiar with any of his music. With Enrique, you should check out his song Bailamos and Rhythm Devine.

This song was on the soundtrack to the second desperado movie ‘Once upon a Time in Mexico’ aka (El Mariachi) with Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek & Jonny Depp. Where Enrique plays as a member of Banderas “Band” of assassins. Which is why Mickey Rourke is in the music video reprising his role as the “gangster”. Hero was the wedding song of my next door neighbor girl, my younger sister's best friend. She looked like a princess that day while in her teens she looked quite rebellious with her tattoos and piercings and straight black hair while being blonde. 🙂 When you said Jennifer Lopez it reminded me of Trini Lopez, an American singer, who covered the songs “La Bamba” and "If I Had a Hammer".

Enrique has many hits in English and in Spanish, you should try listening to some of his more upbeat songs like "Escape" , "Do you know (Ping Pong Song)", "Bailamos" and "Could I have this kiss Forever which features Whitney Houston" , his more later stuff featured a lot with Pitbull (Rapper know as Mr 305/Mr Worldwide) as well.

Going on musical adventures is great, and it doesn't matter where you end up or which path you take to get there, or where you start. I don't know a lot of new music, and I don't know a lot of non-English speaking music, or music from places other than America, and that's where I am, that's where I start. I recently found out that I didn't even know all the English music. That song from Enrique Iglesias is beautiful! He has recorded other songs in English that are worth hearing which other people have mentioned here. In 2021 he went on tour with MY FAVORITE Latin singer Ricky Martin! Enrique and Ricky both sang in English and Spanish during the concert which was great since I don’t know Spanish. I was was so happy to be able to go to the concert when it came to my city. PLEASE check out Ricky Martin’s songs that are in English. “Shake Your Bon-Bon” would be a good one to start with! The duet with Christina Aguilera is so good - “Nobody Wants To Be Lonely”. The official video is a must on both songs!!! I could just go on and on when it comes to Ricky Martin! 🥰

I was a fan of Enrique's dad Julio Iglesias back in the 80's He was big in America. He had a cover of "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" he even made a duet with Willie Nelson of the song. Which was a HIT in 1983, earning Spanish heartthrob Iglesias his English-language breakthrough. The song made a globally recognized romantic out of Nelson as well. So the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.
