Adios.
im not Peruvian, but a huge fan of the Peruvian culture. Peruvian food is amazing, some of the best in the world and there people are just as fabulous!
I'm a Canadian, my parents are from Peru. I'm in Peru now! Peruvian food is delicious af! A lot of these Latinos are Mexican/Americans or Dominican on Pero Like. Also, shout out to Julissa who kills it every time!
I'm glad they pointed out that ceviche is from Peru😌 because these Chileans always try & claim it...or people think it's originated from Mexico but nooo it's PERUUUU🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪❤️
Nah we Chileans do a lot of questionable things, but we do not claim ceviche! I looooove peruvian food tbh Ají de gallina is one of my favorite dishes in the world
para la proxima: - ANTICUCHO, RACHI Y PANCITA - PAN CON CHICHARRON Y CAMOTE FRITO - POLLO A LA BRASA - Y PARA FINALIZAR, UNA JALEA MARINA CON CHICA DE JORA!
Nick P. They hadn't heard of Peruvian ceviche. I only heard about some Peruvian dishes because I had a Peruvian coworker once, I don't think I've met more than 3 Peruvians in my life and I live in NYC. That coworker was always talking about leche de tigre
WonderLizzz the Peruvians are on Long Island... and I still don't know too many. There's a Peruvian restaurant down the road from me so I know there's Peruvians here.
Like all peruvian girls know how to cook lol. I would be like "look honey, there is this thing called the internet. Just buy your ingredients and cook by yourself... and make me a great ARROZ CON POLLO O TE BOTO DE LA CASA" hahahah
which is the problem man i have tasted mexican food and its pretty good, so if they´re comparing peruvian food with the mexican, it means that it is as good as the mexican
@@ikermartinez7246 I know you mean it good, but people who have tried Peruvian and mexican food, know the peruvian wins by far (personally I love mexican food, specially the snacks, but pls), so that's why it's not exactly a compliment for it to be compared to mexican food
Mexican food declared by UNESCO HUMAN HERITAGE CUSINE!! In 2012, France in 2014 and Japan in 2016. THE ONLY 3!!! THERE'S NO MORE!!! Peri, not even close!!! You feel offended by that?😁
@@theyoutubedude3818 Peru literally has EVERY influence. We have our Amazon rainforest, deserts, mountains, coast, sea, high plains, everything! We’re lucky to have all the influences from Italian to Chinese, from all over the world. You can’t convince me that your tacos and pozole can beat that.
@@goodvibes106 And Mexico is one of the top 10 countries in the world with the most biodiversity... IN THE WORLD! come on, don't come to me with that, we have it all in this country, the same as Peru and more... AND MORE! haha Ahmmm yes, we can beat that with one of the most varied cousines in the world, which includes more than just tacos and pozole hahaha
They're in Los Angeles, food and culture there is very heavily influenced by the immigrant Mexican population that's why he had probably only tried Mexican ceviche before :)
Hey guys! Peru has different kinds of food depending on which part of the country you are. Peru is divided in three areas; one is the coast where people eat a lot of seafood; the highland where people enjoy different variations of stews and the jungle where people eat plátanos (as Gadiel like) and cook with plantain leaves the food. So, you should adventure more and try some of our rich food. You would love. And thank for trying some in this video. XoXo
You know what is funny when I went to Peruvian restaurant in New Jersey it was quite busy at the time, no seats left and as I ate my meal I was socializing with other people that were in the restaurant. The whole restaurant was full of Guatemalans and Salvadoreans hahaha... well actually there was one Cuban couple there too but everyone else was from either Guatemala or El Salvador. Nearly every table of the Guatemalans and Salvadoreans that were eating there had at least one order of the Peruvian style Tamales (Humitas) in addition to the other dishes. I found it very interesting!
"A la huancaína" means Huancayo style. Huancayo was the heart of the Huanca (also Wanka) Confederation, that predates the Incas and occupied most of central Peru. Many places still start with the Huanca- prefix to indicate they were part of that union of semi-independent states (Huancavelica, Huancayo, Huancabamba, Huanuco, etc.). In fact, the conquest of the Huancas was the watershed moment for the Inca, since it expanded their lands nearly four times. And the Huancas, being related, were also much more numerous and provided the bulk of the Inca army for later conquests.
For my spanish project i had to do it on a specific country. I chose peru!!! I had told about the culture and it's history, different dances, the food(fav part. i love food) And me and my mom had made Alfajores for the class. it was soo good and we got it perfect on the first try. Everyone loved it and i just remember it being one of the best days for me and my friends.
Peruvians have more dishes than days in a year 🖤 so proud to be a Peruvian Woman ☺️👏🏽 The key for the best Peruvian food is Make EVERYTHING from SCRATCH, we put a lot of work and LOVE in our food 🇵🇪
Peruvian food is amazing! I lived in Peru 1 year and travel there constantly for work, the only thing that I was really disappointed with regards to food was their empanadas.
My step mother is from Peru and I can say that yes, Peruvians do have such a refined taste! Papa a la huancaína and lomo saltado are both such delicious dishes!
It's becoming popular in Peruvian restaurants in the U.S.A. to lomo saltado with a drizzle of aji huacatay on it. It is because Pollo A La Brasa restuarants in the U.S. have made the aji huacatay popular so now many gringos in those areas kind of expect it with Peruvian dishes.
