@@appletoshmartin5352 Ahhh que bien amigo. Me encantan los anticuados, ají de gallina, las empanadas peruanas (Y la papa rellena), sopa de mariscos, el ceviche con cancha, lomo saltado, también loccro y carapulcra (Un sudado de cerdo, no recuerdo el nombre), arroz chaufa claro. Todo muy bien 😀

Yes of course, the issue stems from Perú not being marketable on its cuisine however in the past 30 years it has relatively grown worldwide and it has significantly grown expanding even more in the past decade with many established Peruvian restaurants all over the US though the popularity In the US still growing. Peruvian food is indeed famous in general but more so knowable due in recognition in Europe & South America. Not as much in the United States although it has remarkable increased in recent years in different states becoming more & more popular in the US. Here on RU-vid there’s a lot of particular details in regards to its food and how enlarge it has become on its popularity. In addition, Peruvian cuisine has won Best leading culinary award for 8 consecutive years since 2012 - 2019. Italy won in 2020 however Perú took the trophy back by winning again In 2021. The winner of 2022 is still in question. Also Peruvian chefs has rise to the Top like Gaston Acurio and more recently the Peruvian Chef Pia León has secured the spot for 2021 World's Best Female chef Award in recognition of her culinary excellence. It’s a blessing having to experience the exquisite taste of Peruvian dishes as many chefs are currently functioning to swell Peruvian cuisine to its potential popularity in the pairing of Italian, Chinese, French, Spanish, mexican, Japanese etc. I personally think the taste of Peruvian🇵🇪 food is extremely exquisite aside from the many many different traditional fusion dishes and the variety of its food and savor it has. it’s just superb to any other nation’s food I had without being 100% popular as of yet in the US and some of the remaining countries

Peruvian here, our food is our national treasure ❤️🇵🇪. I can't believe how much Kelly liked it. I don't wanna be disrespectful, but the chef's dishes don't look good. The pisco sour looks old, the ceviche too, and that chicharrón looks so dry. I mean, basically Kelly ate old (not fresh) peruvian food 🤷🏻
It's a Chicago restaurant, so DUH it's not exactly like Peru! Izard puts her spin on things and we love that in Chicago. Cabra is DELICIOUS and I'm so happy it's in my city!
It's evident that anyone would fall in love for Peruvian food, the best food in the world; however, what makes Peruvian food unique beyond its especial mix and cultural influence, is its ingredients that can ONLY be found in Peru. No restaurant anywhere in the world can recreate Peruvian food the way it actually tastes. It could be close but never ever the same. Only eating Peruvian food in Peru will give you the real deal. Also, in Peru nobody would ever say "aguacate". The term is "palta". Empanadas are not fried. That chicharrón is FAR from what it should be. Good that she is promoting Peruvian food, but try it out in Peru guys!
Exactly! We, Peruvians don't segregated, we assimilated the different kinds of culture s immigrants brought to Peru. That's why our cuisine is so varied. 👏👏
@@noface____ she mentioned Lima , because in Lima you can find everything. I have travel around different cities and towns in Peru. I love the food from the north area and Cuzco but Lima has more variety for sure, and not just Peruvian food you can also find, Italian, Chinese, French, Japanese good food . A lot to choose from.
@@meczm i get that lima is a good starting point for any tourist (its literally the only city you can travel to directly from other countries) but peru is so much more than lima, that’s all im saying.
