So many misconceptions about this product... I've heard them all! Here is a video dispelling the myths the Latisse name carries. For a Latisse or plastic surgery consultation, call 310-659-0500.
Thank you! That really cleared up a lot of things I was concerned about. I did purchase the Latisse a few months back, but haven't used it yet. I did use an OTC product, but, my corner lashes got so much curl that it was difficult to straighten them out like the rest of the lashes. Have you known anyone that may have experienced that with Latisse?
I appreciate having this information from a medical practitioner who actually uses the product and is a person of colour. Pigmentation changes on darker skin tones is often a caution on skin products/procedures and thus a deterrent to try when the people selling it don’t look like you. I’m excited to give it a try!
I've just experienced considerable lash breakage , thinning , and lash loss from either a chemical or allergic reaction to other serums. I was hoping latisse would help my missing lashes to grow back, and my barely left lashes to be stronger. Will it not help to regrow missing lashes and strengthen what you have? If it only lengthens would this also not make the lashes weaker?
A little personal question here but may I know what happened to your left eye. I can see a discolouration on sclera of the medial canthus. Is it because you started using the eye drops or it’s because of something else? I’m thinking of using it myself so i just wanted to know if it caused that discolouration in the long run
Do you have any scholarly articles you can link proving that it won’t cause fat atrophy if just used on the eyelid? I want to try it because my lashes tinned significantly after giving birth, but I don’t want to age prematurely either.
Charlotte Rawlins Hello there, did you continue to see growth? If so, can you please share how soon after you starting using the product did you see growth?
I used Latisse a year ago for 3 months. My lashes grew very long and then I noticed a spot in my vision in my left eye. I now have retinal uveitis and retinal vasculitis. After months of tests and immune suppressants the cause has not been identified. I had to get a steroid shot in one eye this week and regret that I ever used Latisse.
@@noonecares200 my dermatologist said to stop using Latisse after the eye problems. There are many risks and complications from using it. People should know the truth.
I watched Dr Dray and I think she also mentioned spots in the iris. I trust Dr Dray more then this Doctor right here. The way she dismissed potential side effects seemed irresponsible to me, because she knows there is not enough research on this. Many people are complaining about side effects online
Well I’ve used it for a year and did t get any fat loss or discoloration. But I’m having trouble getting it on my lashes but not a little bit in my eyes. If I didn’t get fat loss after the year does that mean I won’t get it later?
Hello there and thank you for this video. I am currently using Latisse in the morning. At night, I use a serum (Grandelash MD). Will using both products counter each other or work complimentary? How many times a day should Latisse be used? I would really appreciate your thoughts.
It is not going to make it work any faster, you’re wasting money. The recommended application is once per day. They both have a prostaglandin analogue.
Latisse, when used just on the lashes with a slanted eyeliner brush or the brushes it comes with, will not lead to fat loss. Only when it gets into the eye can it do that, and that is a rare occurrence as well. Hallowing around the eyes does naturally occur with aging as well.
@@sheilanazarian1629 you should read up on plenty of Latizes reviews who say otherwise . Also I used it for 3 months I doubt I aged in 3 months and it was very noticeable . I think prostaglandins should never be used in cosmetics
