Fr , all my life I was told my great grandmother was a complete saint , didn’t cuss, smoke , drink , always went to church. Until one day ease dropping I found out she yoked up my aunt slinging her across the table and called her a “bitch “ 😭, for me it humanized her 😂

Yeah, Marlon is the only one of all nine of them whose voice I don't really like and it hurts me to say that cause I love all nine Jackson kids and have almost all the albums of each of them. But he could dance his behind off!

Rob…you need to understand something. This was not a regular family. It was a HUGE deal to see a black American family have the status they had in the 1970s. I feel like a lot of that is lost on people now. This would have been understood back in the day when people knew how to keep their skeletons in the closet. They weren’t rushing to tell the media all their family business. You have to put it in the right context. The Jackson family hired a team of people to keep their business out of the streets to protect their brand. Bill Bray was one of those people. He was hired to protect the Jackson brothers first but then later worked exclusively for Michael. He saw and knew everything! Whatever he witnessed from The 1970s on…he took to his grave. But when Katherine passes…all those Jackson skeletons are going to come out of the closet. I’m just saying it now! And there will be so much…but that’s all I can say. Also to your second point: It had nothing to do with it being the 1970s and 1980s, it was because of their religious beliefs. There are still Christian sects to this day that believe you live at home until married. They chose to follow those rules ..all of them except Randy and Michael stayed in the family home until married.

@Lisa Cox I was just saying society outlook on things changed alot. They were being held back out of fear when society would have been on their side unlike decades earlier. It's weird Latoya I heard didn't leave home until 29. I wonder why they wanted their kids under their thumb even after pass adulthood.

they wanted to protect their kids from this COLD WORLD, but couldnt once they became ADULTS. a lot of bad things did happen to a few of them because they were around people who were BOTTOM FEEDERS/LEESCHES

This is a 30 year old book. It was shocking when it came out . Alot of what is in this book has long been confirmed now. The book was written before people even knew who Jack really was. LaToya absolutely talks about everything with Jack in her second book. All of the Jack stuff is in that book. This book came out kind of around the same time as Katherine’s so of course there was comparison. Katherine wasn’t going to spill tea on her family. She wasn’t going to expose her children. It’s a good book but typical of a mother talking about the accomplishments of her children. People were more curious about LaToya’s book and what it was like being a Jackson sibling….especially LaToya being the middle child.

@@jordashi Not understanding the logic. You asked why did LaToya write a book? Why did Katherine write a book? Why does anyone write a book? To inform, to entertain, to educate, to tell a story, to clear up lies, etc. Why would she have written about Jack when she was still with him being abused? I've been in an abusive relationship and I wasn't in a hurry to write about it when I was in the middle of it. I'm an author myself. It took many years later to write about my own childhood sexual abuse story and the abusive relationships I experienced as an adult.

Of course not he is the one who made her write the book, how is she gonna put that information in there with him looking right over her shoulder
