Our next stop on the Baltic trail was the capital of Latvia, Riga. We were immediately impressed with the architecture and general vibe of the city. The locals were extremely friendly and we quickly decided that Riga was a very liveable city.
Unfortunately, most museums were closed on Monday and Tuesday, however we still had fun in restaurants and bars celebrating Anna and Laura's birthdays, as well as our 7th Wedding Anniversary. We certainly got to taste a lot of local food and beer.
It was so much fun to compete in a darts competition at our local pub! We met some amazing people that treated us as old friends and had a blast.
We could have easily spent more time here, which means we should return at some point in the future!
