Acheron's dialogue about journey and the meaning of life makes me tear up tbh. The voice acting is so good and the fact that such heartfelt and warm words came from an emanator of Nihility really makes the words more precious. I love Acheron so much.

i have to admit, i felt like sparkle's involvement and - by association - firefly's '3 deaths' were rather anti-climactic. i'd give it a bit more leniency on the deaths being metaphorical if they hadn't had firefly speak of the last one as if it was literal. 'true death' she even called it. i didn't expect much though. hoyo's history of raising death flags and not following through is coming back to bite them i think. if they want to keep playing the 'scare player into thinking someone might die' card then they can't coast on the memory HI3 himeko forever.

Penacony is the worst presentation of story ever...too much glazing in the writer but it did not deliver.

Gotta give credit to honkai community for gaslighting everyone in thinking how Shaoji was an exceptional phenomenal writer as if second coming of Shakespeare itself.....only for him to deliver the most mid story ever 😂 Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the earlier bits of penacony story but it slowly but surely devolves into a messy philosophical bullshit with an unbelievable amount of yapping. Like every character was speaking in riddles and shit with acheron being the worst offender of this like holy shit! Her conversation with welt has got to be the most boring bit of any hoyo story ever. Also, why are they so insistent in inserting as many characters as possible? Seriously, robin should have gotten much more screentime but no! Sunday has to yap about his fucking bird every 10 minutes. I used to believe in HSR writing team until 2.2 and 2.3, all the stakes just deleted, "Death's" triple kill? Nah they are chilling, mildy inconvinenced at best, Aventurine going to the other side of Nihility? Argenti learns from Blackbeard and uses offscreen haki to save him rendering all this time we spent with Aventurine meaningless, Firefly's 3rd "death", it was a fucking clickbait by Sparkle because bunch of fireworks are so dangerous to a planet buster am I right, also Acheron having a deus ex machina in her pocket in case she did run out of convienent Nihility powers. I hope they get the guy who wrote Belobog instead.
