Actually got mine on sale through Amazon after your first video on it. I think I paid like &120. This scanner is awesome! I’m a Honda tech and the only time I use the dealership HDS is for software updates at this point. Thanks for the review brother!
Hell yeah nice, I have the diagun x431v like $800 something I haven’t tried doing keys with it yet but I know it’s capable im usually using the Autel im608 But it’s always easy until it isn’t Nice video man
Nice dude, yeah I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s no perfect do it all scan tool. This one for the price is very hard to pass on especially if your brand specific like myself.
I think it would be useful to have at the dealership. Faster than the HDS. I read through the features and I’m interested in its full system scan print capabilities and how the finished report appears to attach or send digitally.
I use it over the HDS in most cases especially if no crazy diag is required or warranty claims. I take a picture of the codes. Not sure a print feature is possible at this point but you can screen shot and send it somehow just haven’t gotten there yet. It’s been hectic
Ideas!!! Buying used, what to look for? Do after-market add-on's increase or decrease value? My guess, decrease. Are factory tires cheaper-grade than off-the-shelf? Why does it seem that new car wipers work the best? No film build-up? Tight mechanics? ??? Are Honda windshields susceptible to chipping or cracking? Better sound deadening? FYI: My ridgeline is nice and quiet. Which cars are quieter? Is Acura even better? Do you recommend using Snow mode or Mud Mode, driving is snow? Any maintenance for the Ridgeline rear window? Silicone? Do all Ridgeline, Pilots, Passports, windows go up/down slow. For me: My 2022 Ridgeline Black Edition will not 'read' my text messages for me 90% of the time. Even when parked! I have deleted the phone and re-paired the phone. It works sometimes. My 2015 Civic works all the time. While driving, I get the message on the info-screen that check the messages when parked....... I will try to think of more ideas!

Is this the same process/selections for the TLX type s key fob? And do I choose to rewrite all keys for the following scenario: Car only came with 1 key and I bought a 2nd one to add, but the x431 shows that two keys are currently registered/connected to the car, and naturally I want to remove that lost key as well as add my new one. When doing this, how do I ensure I connect driver 1 and 2 to the correct fobs, so I don't mess up the memory seats?
@@BCautosolutionsok. Question: what’s the diff between all keys lost and rewrite them? On all keys lost - will the x431 ask for driver 1 vs 2 along the way? The new key is driver 2 (the fobs are labeled). Might do this in an Acura dealer parking lot just in case, since if I disconnect my only key and can’t reprogram them, there’s no way to start the car…
@@BCautosolutions just got back from a local dealer. Did it in their parking lot in case it didn’t work, to avoid having to tow it over (in case my one working key got wiped out in the process). I used the all keys lost option. First time it didn’t work and actually made my one existing key stop working as well. Went through the process a 2nd time and boom, both keys were successfully programmed, both work including remote start and both are tied to the correct driver memory. Thank you!
So much smaller and cheaper than my Autel. My Autel battery tester sometimes says “good & Recharge”. Do/should batteries be recharged using a battery charger routinely? I think the SOH was 87%
Im having an issue, when I get to the One Push Start it pops up a message saying there was a communication error and doesn't let me move forward, this was on a 2019 Accord. Any ideas ?
@@BCautosolutions Right after click 16 pin I only have the option of special function. Yours has service function. I’m assuming you have to put the car in the on position to get service function? I don’t have any key fobs to do this .. Actually you have to go into rf hub tpms function. Then hit special function. There I found program fob. But it keeps saying programming failed or timed out smh
@@chaseaustin6898 might have a bigger issue then or may not have full capacity to do something of that extent. There are some limitations and it varies by model
@@BCautosolutions the scanner probably works. I just did a health scan and says my immobilizer not installed. Of course my Honda has one but must be a problem with the car. I got an error when trying to program the key that the was an error communicating with the ECU . Must be a problem not with the scanner. I’m learning!
