Just be aware that they drop functionality over time. They removed the ability to program tire pressure sensor id's for my dodge caravan less than a year after I bought mine.
Have you lost features or functions in yours yet? They removed the ability to program tire pressure sensor id's for my dodge caravan less than a year after I bought mine.
@@petertroy832 I did. Instead of fixing their software so you can use the tablet to program tpm sensors in the future, they opted to send me THEIR tmp sensor activation and programming tool AND 4 new tpm sensors for free, which means I can finish exactly ONE vehicle, and then I'm right back to where I started. And even with that tool, even though the tablet will recognize and program the tmp sensors with the tpm sensor id's already stored in the vehicle computer, it won't allow me to upload any new id's to the vehicle if I try to add them to the tablet with the scan tool, then send the new id's to the vehicle computer. They've effectively bricked that feature on the tablet entirely, to force people into buying the tpm programming tool.
HI, thanks for your excellent videos, with this launch you can reset the counter after changing the Cerina additive (also called Eolis or Pat) for Citroen/Peugeot cars, thanks for any replies.
Can it still program tire pressure sensors in older chrysler vehicles? They seem to have removed that feature from the LAUNCH X431 CRP919E I bought in september of 2023. Right in the middle of me changing tpm sensors in a vehicle, no less. At least they improved their english translation in the newer models.
@@dial2fast Maybe you missed the part where I mentioned I was able to change 2 of the 4 sensors WITHOUT any additional tools or software before they broke the functionality in an update?
@@hellcat1988 Sorry I missed that. That's not cool they did that. Features should not be taken away after purchase. Maybe you can try contacting Launch to see what they have to say.
@@dial2fast I did. After much back and forth, they claim it's not possible to send the old software as an update to restore the feature, they have made no effort to fix the problem in their current or future software, and they'd rather send me a set of their branded tpm sensors and a new tool free of charge, instead of fixing their screw-up so I can actually use the scan tool for changing tpm sensor id's on future vehicles.
