There is a lot of super alloy at the base of the sand falls, and remember you can make it.

A few things i like to do. Build an oxygen base by every wreck to dump loot into. When you collect resources to build a solar panels etc, dont bring it back to base to build, just build it right there. Put a wind turbine next to every crate so you can find it later, they are handy to drop supplies in in the early game, and it helps navigation.. When you get a transporter, put one in every biome, only losers fly around the planet

Instead of shedding the resources you should turn them into super alloy with the advanced crafting station so you don't have to push for the t2 ore miner

iron, cobalt, titanium, silicon, magnesium, aluminum, sulfur and iridium ore all take ore extractor rank 1 or higher. while uranium ore, super ally ore, osmium ore, zeolite and obsidian all take ore extractor rank 2 or higher. however to maximize efficiently you'll want to place ore extractors at areas with higher concentration of the desired material in question. over time you'll unlock a rocket with blueprint microchips that shows points of interest on the map which helps with this and other things.

I started a new save after the 1.0 release and I just got breathable atmosphere!, so I finally built the recycler and got all the mats back from the O2 tanks (T1-T5). And btw, don't forget about the hidden room behind the wall you can deconstruct in that wreck you're exploring. I found pressure, oxygen and plant fuses very early, so start exploring other wrecks ASAP. Also, deconstructing the electronic equipment gives you circuit boards, not microchips.

Thanks for the video. I saw someone mention putting the ore extractors tier 1 in the aluminum area with an advanced crafter, then making super alloy there. Also the ore extractors have heat and pressure.

For the last few episodes you been talking about wanting more golden flower seeds but you keep forgetting/missing the closest golden chest of them all. directly south of your base up near the wall in a little ditch, there are a few others not far from your base too but im sure you will remember them once you go into their respective areas

Chest loot is determined based on the terraformation level.

Osmium and Super Alloy you get with the Extractor T2+

You can make Super Alloy in the large crafter using basic elements. And your second rocket will work after the storm.

Well... you can make oxygen bottles from Cobalt, and super alloy from the extra stuff you pull from the extractors. That's what I do with the extras.

The only thing I hate about the meteors is a) it's hard to move through them and find the resources (which really sucks when they phase through into my base and (b) the resources from them eventually de-pawn. They should either let you deconstruct the rocks (which would be ideal, I don't even need resources for it) or leave the spawned resources on the ground without respawning. But I am loving watching you play and also playing myself.

Rocket engines are a higher TI loot item, so they won't appear in blue chests for a few more TI stages. That's why some people avoid opening any blue chests until later in the game. However, there are 2 rockets in the desert wreck you can get now. Also, there is NOT a golden chest at the desert crash, but there is a blue chest hidden under the back end and a storage container in the tower you enter through the broken glass in the top of the control tower.

His storage organization (or lack thereof) gives me anxiety.

Too bad they don't have some sort of "quantum locker". Edit: I'm fairly certain that the T2 Deconstruction chip was required for the electronic components.

You should leave a large storage up by the entrance for food and water.

early game you can get a decent amount various resources from crash sites, chests and general exploration. also if you go the long way around your able to travel almost the whole map early game. but depending on which stage of terraformation your in plays a role as to what type of items you'll get from the various loot chests around the world. however to my knowledge the items in loot chests don't respawn over time.

the opening in the wall between the default starting zone and the giant waterfall doesn't start to open until your roughly mid game into the trees stage.

The whole game really does feel smoother after the full release. The gameplay really is the best part of the game, pity about the endings though.

You can sort your inventories with a single button press.

No, we can't stop you. Yes, you are terrible. You're relying on the auto miner for the specific ore, but letting the inventory clog with normals. You are preventing the auto miner from doing what you want.

so the chest have nothing to do with the wrecks...over time loot in chest get better based on the terraformation level....you just are REALLY late to the wrecks lol

You are not terrible for not taking all the ores out, just dumb. If you don't clear it out it can't produce the ores you want.
