Great performance! Inspiring me to go play outside! Link to scale mode firmware update and the PDF docs: us.novationmusic.com/support/product-downloads?product=Launchpad+Pro
Wow it's amazing how much size difference there is between the launchpad pro and the launchpad mini after I go on holiday I'm getting a launchkey 25 first dj gear ever so excited
Well, i am really not into electronic music at all, but this was absolutely awesome to watch and listen to. would love to know more about the background stuff (e. g. where the sounds come from, what loops are used etc.). is it ableton live running on the laptop?
I realize this is old, but the Launchpad Pro scale mode can mimic the Push. When you are turning on Scale Mode and setting the key, the orange keys on the top row determine the row offset - how many notes each row will be offset from the one below it. The fifth orange button mimics the default Push arrangement (Fixed off).
Man, this is fantastic! I'm hearing your wonderfull psychedelic sound with my circumaural headphones. A huge thumb up for your work, best regards Chris
Love the track man! Do you have that track posted anywhere? I looked on Soundcloud but didn't find it. I think this one is definitely worth it's own track/title/attention!
Cool jam. Makes me really want to get a launchpad Pro. I would like to see how you setup everything inside ableton to do a performance like that. Seems you never had to touch the computer, which I think is great.
How do you play chords in scale mode? And is there also a auto chord mode where you only press the first key and the other notes are played automatically like in Korg gadget? Guess not light shows outside ;-p Cool set :-)
Cool. I would love to get something like this as a first gear. I need some help deciding between one of the many •Akai MPK mini and •Novation Launch Key 25, or •Novation Impulse 25. Which one would you guys recommend? Maybe something else? Perhaps Launch Pad Pro?
Ethan Thompson I am planning to learn to play some music. Mostly to see if I can come up with some beats. I find that relaxing. Maybe to follow along my friend playing music on the organ. I would really like some stand alone device or something that I can connect to my iPhone. But something that only works when it’s connected to the computer, sounds good too. As long as it’s fun to use, I’m all for it. What would you recommend?
Marian 1st I would follow the advice that taetro gave in one of his videos and get the launchkey mini if you are planing on using ableton live, and getting the akai mpk mk2 mini if you are planning on using any other DAW
