It's laundry day! After flat air drying a few cardigans, I carefully smooth them out on the kitchen table, brush away any pesky pilling, lint roll them gently, and fold them into a nice stack. Very very soft sounds, with no talking.
Have a lovely day!
Sherri 💚

Reminds me of my youth seeing mom doing laundry in the morning while i'm eating breakfast just before school. Time flies. Point is cherish those simple moments with your loved ones.

You are absolutely right, Frag ‘N Shrapnel’s. That’s what life is, a succession of simple moments-and the best life is learning how to appreciate each one. 💚💚💚

This was really nice!! Too many asmr content creators are going too overboard, these simple effective videos is what works 🥰🧠

Well, maybe I go a little overboard in my pharmacy videos lololol. But I get what you mean. Folding videos are sooooo chill and soooo relaxing. Love your username btw, Nutty Ella. You sound like a fun person. Have a great day. - sherri 💚

I always wonder how you ASMR pros discovered you are good at this. Every channel is different-but you are all so good! I understand your cooking videos aren’t easy to make, but I also love these and your Avon ones. Thank you for all your work!

How funny. I guess everyone figures it out by trying and posting and seeing if it helps people. My early videos were much simpler because I didn’t know if I had a talent for it. I’ll tell you the other thing, though-watching ten years of ASMR videos inspired me, and it gave me a good idea of the various kinds of triggers that folks like. The big surprise for me is that I never thought I’d use my voice in any of my videos. Thank you so much, Molly, for hanging out with me in the 60s. 👗✨🍸 sherri 💚

I loved this video. I was just about asleep when you finished. The lastest perfume video was informative. You seem to know a lot about the subject. So glad to see you back.❤

I'm new to your channel. And I LOVE folding ASMR 😍😍 you do it all so well! What is the brush tool for? I love the sounds it makes but does it do something for the clothes as well?
@MidModMeridianASMR
@MidModMeridianASMR 2 года назад
Hi there, and welcome to the gang! I use the brush to deal with pilling on sweaters (usually under the arms or underside of the sleeve) or to brush out a smudge on something that's dry-clean only. ☺️💚

I didn’t want to ask because I assumed everyone does, but I haven’t seen it - how do you acquire all these things that are in such good condition as if it were brand new??
@MidModMeridianASMR
@MidModMeridianASMR 2 года назад
Hi Ashley, No worries. Truth be told, when I first started this channel, everything I used as a prop was already in my midcentury house. I grew up in the 60s but eventually became a Victorian literature professor, so most of my possessions in adulthood were Victorian antiques . . . that is, until my midlife crisis. Didn’t have an affair or buy a sports car lol, but I did sell every last stitch of Victoriana and quickly started collecting midcentury modern. With each piece, I felt a greater calm and sense of security bc all these things reminded me of my wonderful childhood. I also inherited things from my mother and my mother-in-law. My MIL’s attic was a total time capsule. Anyway, since the channel has grown, I’ve started acquiring additional things from local thrift shops, estate sales, Etsy, and eBay. I love building the sets and finding the props as much as anything. Thanks for asking! Sherri 💚

I don't think we had lint rollers in the 50's. Sorry.
@MidModMeridianASMR
@MidModMeridianASMR Год назад
Surprisingly, lint rollers were invented around 1956. The Pixall lint roller I’m using in the video is a vintage model made in the late 50s/early 60. It’s extremely sticky, much sticker than todays “masking tape” models.
