They don’t do that because you are supposed to keep chemicals in their original containers because they have health inform and safety locks. Same with medicines.

@@devojim3357 they should make cute reusable containers that have safety locks on them so you can buy your products in bigger containers and refill as you need it (like you can with hand soaps) that way it’s safe and cute and better for the environment

@@at12344 also, some products have lids to keep the little ones out. It's too easy for kids to get into these jars. While I do put some products in jars, I don't have them on display. Chemicals are placed where kids can't get to them, or in cupboards with safety latches.

I understand the glass containers if you purchase the refills but I don’t get it other than aesthetics if you buy a regular plastic container to put into another container.

Such an aesthetic idea. But, in my experience, it only worked for powdered detergent, detergent pods and the scent beads.😩 The liquid detergent and softener both leaked from the valves. I'm just glad I caught it at the very beginning before a disaster occurred.

Oh no, that sucks! I'm seriously thinking about doing that, because I have very weak hands and have dropped a full bottle of detergent on the floor because my hands gave out. I usually buy the bigger value packs, so if that worked it would help a lot. But after reading this I became kinda hesitant to the idea..

Don't use that much detergents, it's crazy. There are research showing that people waste them soo much, and if there's too much soap the laundry comes out dirty. And can cause skin issues. And is bad for the environment. Make it half at least, and save money doing so.

These are really cute. Personally, I'd never have the patience to do this every time. Lol at most, I just put all of our detergents in a basket in their original containers so that it'd be "tidy". Then we'd reuse/recycle the containers (cut it in half and put plants is my mom's go to😁😁)

Why do you assume everyone has kids?. I'm childfree by choice and I'm totally doing this. My home is going to be a non child friendly space so my relatives are going to keep their kids away from my stuff and teach them boundaries. If they don't like it, then don't bring kids to my house 🤷‍♀️

For someone without kids is as simple as to tell "hey I don't have kids, I don't plan to have them so my house is not designed to be safe for kids, if you want to visit and bring your kids you are the one responsible to watch your kids to avoid them get harmed or break any of my stuff, there are rooms were your kids are not allowed, so teach them manners and to follow orders or else don't bring them to my house"

Why put something already in a box or bottle into another bottle to look nice by the washing machine. Washing powder and cleaning products should be in a cupboard away from kids and pets.
