This is my absolute favorite thing on RU-vid since my first viewing. It just about killed me going so long without getting to hear it. Ive been meaning to express my deepest gratitude & thank you for letting me have my song back. Cheers.
I met Laura a few times back in her previous life. One of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to talk to. I'm so glad that she's doing such great work still.
@@CharlieRogersMusicI hope in the last three years you've grown as a person and have found a place in your life where you no longer feel a need to spread this kind of hatred. I'm pulling for you my dude. Here's to hoping for the best.
I keep forgettin' we're not in love anymore I keep forgettin' things will never be the same again I keep forgettin' how you made that so clear I keep forgettin' Everytime you're near Everytime I see you smile Hear your "hello" Saying you can only stay a while Hey, I know that it's hard for you To say the things that we both know are true But tell me how come I keep forgettin' we're not in love anymore I keep forgettin' things will never be the same again I keep forgettin' how you made that so clear I keep forgettin' Everytime I hear How you never want to live a lie How it's gone too far And you don't have to tell me why Why you're gone and the game is through If this is what's real, if this is what's true Tell me how come I keep forgettin' we're not in love anymore (baby) I keep forgettin' things will never be the same again I keep forgettin' how you made that so clear (yeah, baby) I keep forgettin' Don't say that, don't say that, don't say that I know you're not mine anymore, anyway, anytime But tell me how come I keep forgettin' we're not in love anymore (How come I) I keep forgettin' things will never be the same again I keep forgettin' how you made that so clear I keep forgettin' (baby) Everytime you're near (I keep forgettin' we're not in love anymore) Everytime you're near (I keep forgettin' things will never be the same again) Oh Baby (I keep forgettin' how you made that so clear) Everytime you're near (I keep forgettin') Terjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia
I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near) Chuck Jackson written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller I keep forgetting you don't love me no more I keep forgetting you don't want me no more I keep forgetting that you told me that You didn't want me around anymore But these stupid old feet just head for your street Like they've done so many times before And the stubborn old fists on the end of my wrists Start knocking on your front door I keep forgetting you don't love me no more I keep forgetting you don't want me no more I keep forgetting about those heartbreaking nights And those heartbreaking things that you said Though I know in my heart we've drifted apart Still I can't believe our love is dead Though it's plain as can be that you're finished with me I just can't get it through my head I keep forgetting you don't love me no more I keep forgetting you don't love me no more I keep forgetting you don't love me no more Though I know in my heart we've drifted apart I can't believe our love is dead Though it's plain as can be that you're finished with me I just can't get it through my head
Chorus: Em, C; Post Chorus: G, Am, D; Verse: G, Em, G, D, C. That's the easy way. There are some hammer-ons and pull-offs in there that you can figure out, but that's the basis. She only capo'd to move the scale up to match her voice, so just play it the same way without a capo a full step down on the fretboard.
Would LJG be offended if somebody called him Tom Gable whether by mistake or on purpose? Since that was her name at one point and also made albums under that name? Which she signed an autograph as Tom Gable if somebody requested it?
general rule of thumb for transgender people is that once you take on your new name and the identity that comes with that, the old version of yourself is no longer in use and no longer talked about. we call it 'deadnaming' as to give the impression that this old identity has 'passed away' and is therefor no longer to be spoken about. it's not like there's any rules or anyhting, it's mostly just out of respect for your fellow human being. so probably not. but i don't know laura's personal stance on that.
i think she would, it's a bit disrespectful (even though I don't think youre intending to be). in the trans community we call that "deadnaming". sometimes its more acceptable than others, like if you don't know their new name or if they _just_ came out and you're genuinely not used to it yet, we as trans people understand there's an adjustment period-but calling someone by the name they want is a sign of respect obviously, and most times trans people get called the wrong name... it's not in a nice or 'innocent mistake' way. so calling laura by her old name would probably not be taken well, even if you genuinely don't mean anything harmful by it. have a good day!!
@@megastarlyex3618 Laura definitely would find it disrespectful. If you listen to her interview on Fresh Air with Teri Gross, Laura had to tell Teri to stop referencing her dead name. It was very uncomfortable, though Laura was very kind about it.
