This is amazing! I saw that she released this in a sewn binding undated version. I love her horizontal weekly version but would like bigger calendar boxes, so I might purchase the project planner and use a weekly printable planning page - best of both worlds! Either planner you have the full page to the right for monthly planning, as well as open pages at the back. Thank you for introducing me to this company.
Thanks for sharing! I learned about Laurel Denise through your videos and am really excited to start using her planners in 2023. I grabbed both the horizontal weekly and this one to try out. I feel like the 4 columns could also work for each week if someone wanted to try this out as their main planner. I’ve been a Simplified girl for years and though I still love those planners, I’ve had the itch to try these instead!
I love that you grabbed both to play in and test out;) I agree that the 4 columns could be one for each week of the month:) And it's big year switching up from your Simplified! Change can be refreshing. Thanks for watching and taking time to chat:)
Yessss monthly planner update!!:D and I planned on stocking up on a few of the 2023 planners from her for content planning (I have like 6-8 socials for 3 pen names to keep track of) and was on the fence with the project planner but I’m definitely going to get it now!!
Thank you for chiming in on the monthly updates:) Yay! I think it will be a sure thing that I make a priority in 2023 based on feedback:) And I think you will love the project planner for your socials! That is a lot to keep up with;)
I grabbed this one and the horizontal. I could see using this for budgeting. I’m not sure how I’ll use it yet. I see it evolving to many uses for me. I’m hoping to incorporate my goal planning with this a bit too. I’m job hunting too, so this could be a great way to track leads, interviews, company research, etc.
Love hearing all these ideas for this project monthly planner:) And I agree- I will be playing around in this one next year to see if I find something I need it for becuase I really love it!
I'm working backwards, from the top 5 video to the reviews. I really like this project planner. It fixes some of the things I don't like in the weekly. I don't like the the shared Saturday/Sunday in the weekly. I also prefer Sunday start for the month but the shared space is a bigger drawback. I can see this planner really working for me, especially for work since that's where I have the most assignments at the moment. I tend to forget to check my monthly progress and unfinished tasks have a tendency to "disappear" when I trasfer them from week to week or day to day. I already have monthly, weekly and daily planners for 2023 so I don't know how can I fit another one this year. It's hard to get past the planner FOMO but I try to keep in mind that there's always next year.
I just cant do mo day start I have shown up on wrong days to places 😂 I am looking for a stay at home on the counter type planner so I am intrigued ( with Sunday starts )
She is going to do an undated in the spring for those that need a Sunday start. But in the meantime... do you just need a monthly spread? Or do you need a weekly also for this stay at home one?
Really excited for this one. Been purchasing her planners since her first planner launched and they just work so well for me. I’m such a big picture person that I need to see the entire month! Really excited for this one and the price was phenomenal.
Yes, this is her new big picture planner. But she did make a monthly only planner in a book that I believe is saddle stitched this year. I don't have it in hand..but it's on her site;)
Love seeing a really different layout! I'm pretty settled on my 2023 setup, but I am drawn to interesting monthlies. Will be looking out for this for 2024. Might have been nice if there were 24 project pages (2 per month)
Just placed my first Laurel Denise order (I did used your link and the discount code as well.) I'm going to try using the project planner as my cleaning and home project planner. I think this layout will work great with the Fly Lady system and the tweaks I have for a larger house. I will use the monthly spread to map which zone, and the columns to keep track of my Daily Focus items. But then I'll use the 22 pages in the back to map out the zones. Instead of using the check boxes for M-Sun, each day represents a month (not sure if that makes sense.) I like that there's a large area above it, as I can keep notes, measurements or special project info that relates to each zone in my home. I also ordered the teacher planner. I'm not sure that I'll fully change to it during this school year, but it will let me try it out ahead of time, to see what I think. (I used the Simplified Teacher Planner the last two years, and am using the Simplified Home School Planner this year.) Thanks for introducing me to this planner.
Hi Meredith:) Thank you for taking the time to share how you will use this with Flylady! That might help others too and it all made sense to me:) Sounds perfect! Good idea to try out the teacher planner while it's on sale;) Have a great week:)
Meredith! I was thinking something similar! I’m so glad you commented! I’ve been needing something different than Erin Condren for FlyLady and homeschool…my brain seems to work this way so much better. Can you explain more about what you’ll do with the project pages? Thanks, Amanda, for highlighting this! I’ve been frustrated with my brain lately and this may be a good solution!
Oooh love this one! After watching your top 5 weeklies I had to come and watch this! This would be an awesome work planner! The broadcasting month always starts on Mondays for us so this is perfect. And I usually work off an on going to do list. I think I’m gonna have to pick this one up! 😅😍 you already influenced me on the sprouted weekly for 2023! 😂🤭💓
Oh, this Laurel Denise is such a beautiful & functional one to try:) I love that you also are going with Sprouted! 2 great smaller brands run by women! Thanks for watching and chiming in:)
I love a nice planner. I am a multi passionate entrepreneur with several different projects and businesses. This is a great format for someone like me where I can create a space for each business/project. I also love the fact that a monthly planner is getting this much love. This is a great monthly design with all the bells and whistles and functionality! Thanks for your review.
Hey Jonelle:) Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts:) I think this is one of the most unique monthly planners I've seen and I was happy to highlight it!
I ordered the project planner and the horizontal (all-in-one) planner. I write larger, too. I think these are going to work out. Thank you Amanda, for great content and for the discount!
Great review! Thanks for sharing. I do already have a planner for next year but maybe in '24 this could be a contender if I do decide to switch to monthly + notebook for my planning system.
Hey Terri:) I totally understand, but I don't think I will be going that route for many reasons. I am not savvy with technology and I don't even have an ipad. Sorry! But I bet there are some great reviews here on RU-vid with people who know digital planners well. Never say never....but right now I don't see that in my near future;)
I really like the idea of this for content planning. I was using a happy planner with all the weekly pages torn out for my content planner which was ok with smaller discs substituted. Then I ran out and started using a planner from aldis (only their monthly pages) but the paper and coil were terrible. This looks like a great option to move into in January!
Gotcha! I understand not being on Instagram;) And I will try to build in monthly updates in 2023:) Thanks for watching and letting me know your thoughts.
