Me and my Wife decided to thru hike the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail. It is a 70 mile trail located in the Laurel Highlands of Pa. We hiked this trail SOBO from Seward to Ohiopyle. The trail kept us for 7 days and 6 nights.
This trail is now on my bucket list. Very beautiful. You should head up to northern PA and do some of the North Country Trail. You would like it. Great video. Glad you guys made it!!
Me and my Wife had a great time on this trail. I'd love to do it again, we were lucky with our kids and grandma was able to babysit. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
I’ve hiked the trail three times. The most my pack ever weighed was 22#. I took 4 days, three nights. Your asking for injury with those heavy packs. Anyway, thanks for sharing the trip
Great video, very detailed. Im currently planning this thru hike. Do you have any tips, or things you would have done differently? Do you still feel that going NB may be better?
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. As far as tips go, take plenty of water. As you saw in the video it was a while until we found any. And just take your time and enjoy it, it is a wondeful hike. And I really enjoyed the SOBO hike. Going NOBO is just something I want to do, so that I can say I did it both ways. I do think SOBO is easier though. Thanks for watching, and I hope you have an amazing hike I know I did. Take care my friend.
They are Helinox chairs. I absolutley love them, my favorite is the black one. The high back chair squeezes my legs together. Thanks for watching, happy hiking my friend.
I would never buy a tent if you have to put the inside first then the outside if it rains you want to get stuck with a wet tent best tents are outside inside setup at once.
