Yeah, I think it's really fun how it's Undertale-flavored but still very much their own creation. I think this is a great direction for a fan game to take!
1:22:38 Fun fact: It's a well-documented phenomenon that plants actually _do_ have the ability to vocalise and make sounds in the real world! It's just that all of their noises are in ultrasonic beyond the human range of hearing. Animals like rats however do have the ability to hear the sounds that plants make and can use that to sus out their location. What's even more impressive is that plants seem to have a kind of "language" of sorts that they use to communicate with each other, as different sounds seem to have different meanings. It's to the point where when the ultrasonic made by plants who were distressed was fed to a robot, the robot could consistently figure out what danger the plant was trying to communicate every time. Neat stuff!
Woooo! There's something I want to note about this game, with no spoilers: In Undertale, you couldn't do True Pacifist without doing Neutral (defeating Omega Flowey), meaning that you've experienced Neutral as part of your journey and it's kind of a given for every player. But in *this* game, the Neutral ending is its own separate thing, with unique content that doesn't appear on a Pacifist playthrough. Do with that info what you will, but I personally think that after you beat the game, you could do just a little tomfoolery to experience the Neutral ending. Again, all up to you though, cuz I'm loving this playthrough!! Oh and I'd LOVE to see your thing about overcoming shyness, I could use some of that haha
I don't think Lauren would enjoy doing a neutral run, there is nothing really worth going for it. Don't get me wrong, it's AMAZING, but it's just not for her
@@miyayuzu4473 Vague Spoilers (Lauren Don't Read Please): The only thing that I think would interest her is the Flowey characterization, but even then, it probably isn't worth it if she's already sure about doing a pacifist run. I almost wish that the neutral ending was required for pacifist like in Undertale, since it's so good, but that would require restructuring the game a lot. I guess I'm just a little sad that Lauren won't get to see Flowey's full involvement in the story and themes.
Curses... trying to rewatch these but I have to do it in bits and pieces because watching for too long just makes me want to work on my UTY mod! :P (These are great fun, as always)
