It seems that his political conscience may have been his own undoing as a military commander, unfortunately. Somehow the Rwandan forces have tricked him into being captured. It is doubtful that a true peace will result.

Under which circumstance did Laurent Nkunda have to be under house arrest in Rwanda but he committed the crimes against humanity in Congo and to the Congolese. He claimed to be Congolese then Congolese government were the responsible authorities to handle him not Rwanda. The judicial was not fair.
My question was why did he run to Congo and why do they want to have control in an area that doesn't belong to them they Rwandese wanting to control Congo why that. And why didnt he go back home after the chaos in 1994 to go build up their nation again?
