You completely convinced me to cut bangs!!!!! Could you possibly do a video from washing your hair to drying it so we can see how you style your bangs fresh from a shampoo? It would be so helpful and appreciated!!! Thank you so much Violette!!
I love how he’s still fluffing up your hair as you hug him hahah. My mother is an island girl, she grew up in Cuba and uses nothing but natural oils in her hair so that influence has made me a bit of a hippie when it comes to hair. But my father is Russian and all the womyn on his side are very manicured head to toe so I’ve taken cues from that culture as well. I like to look polished but i try to use natural products and minimal heat. I work with my own texture which honestly seems pretty close to yours. The one conventional styling product i use is alterna invisible roller. It’s like a curling iron in a can. I spray it all over almost dry hair, throw my head upside down, twist it in a very loose bun on the very top of my crown, blow dry for 5 min while it’s in the loose bun then release and voila i have lover hair. A little dry shampoo at the roots and oil or an eco serum to calm fly always and that’s it. I appreciate this detailed technique in the video but i could never spend that much time on my hair. Picking out an outfit, painting my face- hours. But hair... I let it be. To each her own 💜 Love your content!😘
Sounds fantastic! Right now I’m using Bumble & Bumble primer & John Frieda’s sea salt wave spray. Like you, they’re curling irons in a bottle lol. I just spray and scrunch
I love this introduction of French philosophy of beauty to the rest of the world. For me, it's very relatable, because I like having effortless, easy looks. So lovely to see your videos!
French girls and korean girls both have subtle looks that i really love! The way you do your hair and makeup, even your outfits, they're just GOALS! :)
Xuxa Gidayawan Korean girls put a lof of makeup especially foundation. The ghost-like look is not really that appealing, however, compared to Americans, yes their makeup looks subtle.
Yeah asian makeup is actually a lot of makeup that looks like no makeup. Violette is about minimal makeup that actually accentuates your natural beauty.
Absolutely stunning lady! This is how I like my hair, hairdressers make it too straight or uniform. I love it when I straighten my hair in 5 mins and maybe tease a bit at the crown, dry shampoo and it just looks better but I can't find a hairdresser that's not reliant on their straighteners instead of doing a good blow dry xxx
LOVE! I did not know it was possible to blow dry-style hair that is not wet/damp. It's so volume-y! Perfect for lazy girls like me who sleep with wet hair haha.
do your bangs just naturally flip out at the ends like that? i’d really like to see how you style or cut them because i recently got bangs and i’m having a really hard time getting them to “flip” if that makes sense!
I’m dying for your fringe, however I let my hair get greasy. I only wash it a few times a week. I have similar texture and length to yours, but the greasy, laziness factor! Do you wash your hair daily? It looks so clean and light.
Hi Violette, I love your videos. It would be amazing if you could do a tutorial on someone with pale skin and dark hair. I find I struggle to not look over done or goth-like and need some advice!🤞x
Love your hair, it's so shaggy and you just look so perfectly effortless. I wish i could do the after sex hair but i have frizzy curls so i have to straighten my hair until it's sleek first before i do anything else :(
If you've got medium to thick hair with a natural "bend" in it like I do, just shower in the evenings, air dry, sleep, wake up and finger comb your hair out(I also have to pat down an annoying cowlick on the back of my head) and wala, you're done. If you're a bit frizzy and want to be a little bit more "put together" then add the tiniest bit of hair oil. It's the real undone look because it is actually undone. I do get compliments from time to time on my hair as well, which im always taken aback by because I didn't do jack shit, lol.
After your first video i’ve tried b&b products (dry oil, dry span) and its love from first touch )) The only problem i face always is that my hair can’t keep volume for long (max 2h) . Interesting from this video - how long the volume he did was kept for you?
I’ve lived in France for years but I can never understand why French women seem to put so much effort just to look undone. If I spent time I wanna look done!
wash you hair. in any shampoo conditioner you love. put it in a soft bun on the back of your head, loosen it a little until it's done and before it's all the way dry....open it up. or...go to sleep with your hair damp and softly comb your fingers through it. i don't like how they make it look like you need 17 products. that's silly. she looks great...but why make it harder.
well that's fine for you. but 20 products on the face and hair is a mindfuck from the industry. y'all are conditioned now to own dozens of products instead of 5 ...but this is meant for people like myself who found this to be toooooo much effort. to look like you made no effort. it's not for everyone.
No offence Violette, you're lovely as always, but if my mom watches this she'll be like, what did he even do to her hair :D And I kinda feel the same way :p
can i have sex hair if my hair is thick? hhhh really beautiful i like the idea of the undone everything but its not suitable for my indian features and my thick hair
Tatiana Ros Maximov indian features need makeup light eyeshadow colors look bad on me i always do soft brown smokey eye but i cant skip the eyeliner after all i guess that those types of look is not for everyone
Well of course you know your features better than anyone else. I was merely referring to the few Indian friends i have that look stunning with barley there makeup. That doesn’t necessarily mean lighter shadows. But again you know your features best. Im sure you look lovely in however you choose to paint your face 💜
