@@ch.illmaticNot completely. He’s a floor spacing big man that can move off ball and pick & pop. He just doesn’t have the post game that Dirk had or as great a mid range. I’ve always compared to an athletic dirk with Giannis finishing ability. Similar build too.

Lauri's skillset would prove more impressive on a different team. The Jazz need a playmaker and he'd come alive. The reason he struggles at times (which is few and far between) is the immense pressure he gets. Often they faceguard him and he can't even get the ball. I can't remember the last time he had an uncontested look, the kind you see allowed other players. He's a seven-footer shooting over 40% from three while being face-guarded all game and finishes at the rim at an elite level. But don't expect him to be the primary ball handler. Expect him to be an off-ball savant.
