It's simple: If they find a way to add Lauri Markkanen, the Warriors can likely win an NBA title next year if they stay healthy and intact. If they cannot add Lauri Markkanen (and Mike Dunleavy is trying to do so), they will be lucky to make the playoffs. The difference between Kuminga and Lauri Markkanen right now is 8 points per game. 8 points per game is HUGE !!!
Thats not enough to win a title they need more two way players. How many do the Celtics have? Think about it. They might make it to the secord or third round but they can't win.
@@davev9080 Like I said, Lauri Markkanen is a seven footer averaging 24 ppg. If they can land him, along with Buddy Hield and Steph and Draymond, they can win the NBA this season.
It's really hard for me to trust Ainge due to the fact that the Warriors beat the Celtics in the 2022 playoffs and they finally just won another title after so much years of coming up empty. Ainge might be in the front office of the Jazz but he's a Celtic for life.
I doubt it he has to do his job. His job is to make his team (Jazz) contenders. The Celtics are no longer his concern now it's the Jazz. He may be a Celtics for life but at the end of the day his only concern is doing his job well in the Jazz front office and build his team to be contenders in the league. The Celtics are his competition now.
JK took a huge leap mid way in the season…and with an entire off season I see him taking another leap. If we get Lauri…and with a starting 5…Steph, JK, Wigs/Buddy, Dray, Lauri we actually got a chance for a title
Rather Trade an iffy Wiggz than any of our young core because they’re all looking promising. Maaaybe give up Moody, but GP2, JK, GUI, TJD, PODZ, all off limits
Wiggs, GP2 and Santos have younger or newly signed replacement. Santos won't get any minutes on this squad. I think the plan is to ship these players for picks. I can see moody being included because he just can't get minutes with Kerr and this team is starting to look deeper than last year. Not sure if it's enough
Ainge is greedy. If gsw gm is smart, he must play him. How? Tell the media that we are now interested in Lavine and would give these much picks if Ainge won't decide in one day.
ALL OF THIS is speculation. Who knows what Q Post can bring to the Warriors. JK, Moody and Santos are the future of the Warriors. Trade Dray and Wiggs + for TM. Just loosen up on the possibilities.
The future is just that' the future. We live in the present. At the present JK and Moody cannot get this team to the playoffs as they are now. Santos is still a prospect. Its still up to Steph, Draymond, Wiggins, and the vets that decide how good the team is now. Too many wannabe arm chair NBA analysts invested in the youth move ment. Yet teams with veterans and players who are battle tested win championships.
Warriors can get and should get Laurie but it’ll be expensive. Bo way warriors can do it without including players like podz or Kuminga. I’d send out Kuminga and keep the rookie but it hurts to give up to receive a star ⭐️ Laurie better and the picks are just that….its mean warriors all in like cavs and wolves when they traded with jazz. Jazz aren’t any better because Ainge keeps trading his team and stars ⭐️ Warriors will be good for a few years and Jazz can capitalize with those picks if they are lucky 🍀

Yeah LAuri is good but after following this season trade, Jazz overhyped Lauri and playing with the other team like gsw.. lauri is so expensive to happen, he's overrated rn and jazz take that for granted
