@@thalesfigueiredo5210bruh that’s like saying Warriors gave up Curry because Monta Ellis said he didn’t like playing beside him. He was actually going to get traded to the bucks until Marc J said don’t do it. And what happened now? 4 rings. Not saying Kuminga will bring 4 rings to the Bay, im saying that the torch will be passed down to Kuminga, Podz and TJD once curry and Dray retires. So much of you fake fans have a hard time understanding that. And also it’s been reported that Danny Ainge mostly wants 1st round picks, a trade scenario like the Mikal Bridges trade, which the warriors have but they also looking to include a 3rd team to help facilitate the trade without including Kuminga.
It truly is dude I think when everything is said and done Curry is going to be looked back on as a player who’s presence elevated each and every one of his teammates to greater heights. A lot of players even later in their career blossomed with Curry and the Warriors.
GREAT Video!!! You're extremely knowledgeable and Well spoken. You described the players perfectly. Don't stpp and keep posting informative content, you will eventually earn A Network Contract
@@Hollie.415You're AMAZING! What a talent! Your analysis is cogent, concise and cohesive... brilliant and enlightening with no BS or'filler'! You are better than at least 80% of all sports analysts on ESPN, perhaps more! TOP TIER! I'd watch you DAILY without fail! I subscribed immediately and am 'sharing' this with all my Family and Friends. 'GO HEAD, BROTHER!' Thank You! 🙌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Broski just came across your vid. Fantastic analysis, excellent content, may you rise up and get bread in this medium quickly bro. Keep up the good work.
Hollie been gridin with vids that some likes don’t crack triple digit views for a minute. Great to see his work finally start to pay off with this kind of foot traffic. A lot of stutter step RU-vid channels out there that just can’t string together a piece that is coherent, well thought out and paced well - Hollie got that in spades. Dudes a natural. Precisely ZERO fat on his content and that is absolutely key. 🔥
Tbh my lineup for the dubs is Steph, Podz, Wiggins, Kuminga and TJD with the bench being GPII, Melton, Moody, Draymond, and Looney. I can see us trying to move Moody and possibly GP if it means getting Lauri
What’s good, fam! Glad RU-vid pulled me up to your page! Dig the content and analysis. Right there with you…get Lauri, and the Dubs are back being a problem!!!
Utah has all the leverage and are not shopping Markennan, which means, they are gonna be asking for the barn in return. It's a pipe dream. They need to get Kuzma and bring in Cuzins as a body!
Utah is bluffing. They have to get rid of him. They are shopping him which is why they are in talks. Plus no one wants to stay in Utah. IF they keep him Lauri is not going to help them tank to drop his value. Ainge wants to get younger and possibly get Cooper Flagg. The draft class is decent so he will look to rebuild. Also he will have to resign Lauri at a higher rate as Lauri is looking for the max next season and cannot get it unless his contract is restructured and he gets an extension. And since he will be tanking Lauri's value will decrease. The longer Ainge waits the more he risks getting a lesser deal as the teams will not want to delay too long and miss out on other players looking to move that will be cheaper.
Why do you have Kuminga coming off the bench in your scenario? Kuminga should be starting at the SF position. And I rather have moody over Melton in the starting line up. I don’t know why people keep disrespecting this guy
Man I’ve completely 180’d on the idea of Kuminga being a no-trade piece. I’m letting myself hope and believe that the Lauri deal could happen, even if it’s likely I get my heart broke! 😂. Awesome player analysis as always man. I didn’t know much about Melton to be honest - this gives me some good feelings about what his contribution will be. Also, I swear I feel like it was yesterday Buddy Hield entered the league. How’s it been that mans has been in the league for 8-9 years?? Crazy. Lookin forward to you doing a video on Quinten Post.
just discovered ur channel and u earned a subscriber in me. job well done. I’d be stoked if this team adds either markannen or ingram. this would most likely require draymond green to play center most of the time. also utah would def ask for kuminga in a markannen deal. wiggins would prob be required to match salaries in an ingram deal
I just discovered your channel and really appreciate it. I'm not as big on Heild (no defense and his shot selection leaves much to be desired) and Melton (injury concerns). I'd love to see Moody start next to Curry. I think he's earned the opportunity.
Bob Myers often played it too safe and missed on damn near every one of his picks. Its great to see Dunleavy being active and making good moves. As for Klay, he did it to himself. The only max he deserves is on the Beijing Ducks or Shanghai Sharks. Also, Kuminga is not on the trade board, thats likely why the Lauri trade hasnt been done yet.
I appreciate you my guy! Yeah I don’t want to lose Kuminga either but unfortunately he might be the price that needs to be payed to give Steph the chance he deserves at a shot at #5. If we can somehow keep Kuminga and acquire Lauri that would be amazing!
I would hope wiggins and his contract get traded. the concern is that kuminga might not be a full time 3 yet. his shooting needs to be more consistent and his ball handling needs to be improved. Low Key- Moody might be a better option to start at 3 right now
IT IS UNBELIEVABLE! HOW IN THE WORLD??!! Who can forget Shaq's free throws? But how can the coaches not help Kyle with his shot?? Look at his form -- of course he's going miss.
an idea if the markinan doesnt work out. Looney wiggins 1 first rounder and 1 pick swap to the blazers for deandre Ayton. It isnt as good a fit as laurie, but warriors would keep kuminga and save half the draft picks
I don't think JK is the hold up. The Warriors want JK to be a stretch 4, like Markkenan, but he's not. We're stuck with Wiggins, so he and JK are redundant. If the Warriors manage to trade for Markkenan and keep JK, they cannot afford to keep both, so it makes sense to trade JK for him. I think the sticking point is Utah wants Podz and maybe TJD in addition to all those first round picks, and that is too much to give up.
Nice break down. I am with you for most of it. These new players are nice but no game changer. Let’s think big. If we can somehow get Markkanen and DeRozen without losing our all of our young talent, that would be something special.
I agreed Kyle Anderson and Melton are solid signed. Those guys play great defense. Buddy coming off the bench is better but if they put him in the starting lineup, it's going to be a problem. He doesn't play D. As for acquiring Lauri, I think Warriors have to give up Kuminga. If i am GM, would i do it? Yes, Kuminga based on his career stats are not great. His PER stats is just average which tells me he ain't going to be great. Yes, even last year....his stats wasn't impressive.
only problem is they have ROLEPLAYERS not SCORERS curry is getting OLDER i support curry but the warriors need to be sure this is what they want cause if it doesnt work out they will know who to blame and i wouldnt be suprised if kerr gets bashed for this. How are they competing with the other teams the suns, the celtics, Dallas, they simply cant. Klay is unreplacable because he was one man with all of the abilities needed as a secondary and main scoring player but they now have 5-6 extra players to fill one mans shoes. Crazy.
Seems like the Warriors don't want to put Kuminga in the Lauri M. trade. But if they kept Kuminga and got Lauri how do they pay them both with expiring contracts? It's hard to give up 4 1st rounders when Curry only got 2 years left on his deal. You want to somehow match your picks to have them when Curry is probably retired. That means you give up Kuminga and no more than 2 1st rounders for Lauri.
They would have to send Wiggins to a 3rd team (because UTAH doesn’t want him) to free up that extra cash to resign Lauri and Kuminga. My thing is, Steph’s 36 years old, he’s the greatest player in franchise history, top 5-10 player all time. Once he retires it will never be another Steph. We may not get someone as good as him for another 30 years. Yes giving up those picks is scary, but we owe it to Steph to put him in position to spend these last few years he has as a superstar level player in title contention. Once Steph retires the team isn’t going to be great regardless, I’d rather go all in on getting title #5 in this Steph era, then figure it out after, rather then holding on to all these assets, while Curry spends his last few years babysitting kids and getting bounced in the 1 or 2nd round.
I think the only way the hypothetical team with Lauri works IMO is if Wiggins is back to being Wiggins. Because he was awful last season and I know if he put himself to it, he could guard anybody 1-4
I was arguing with my coworker earlier today about including Kuminga in the trade for Lauri. Lauri is proven all star, Kuminga is based off “potential” , Steph ain’t gonna play forever. If Kuminga gotta go he gotta go
Utah doesn’t want Wiggins, they want young players. They’re a rebuilding team. 2nd rounds picks are hilarious. Utah laughs you off the phone and block your number. Lauri is an all star caliber player in the prime of his career at 27 years old. Why would Utah make that trade? Wiggins and a few seconds? Cmon man.
If GSW trade Kuminga and Moody + three 1st round picks for Lauri Markkanen, Warriors will have two starting 7-footers that can rebound, block, shoot 3s and stretch the floor for Green and Hield to slash on. Draymond would likely have many triple-doubles with this lineup C - Quinten Post PF - Lauri Markkanen SF - Draymond Green SG - Buddy Hield PG - Steph Curry 2nd lineup C - Trayce Jackson-Davis PF - Kyle Anderson SF - Lindy Waters III SG - De'Anthony Melton PG - Brandin Podziemski
@@Hollie.415 Very true!!! Didn't realize he was 2nd in shot blocking last season. Being such a young player he'll be very tough to get. Likely have to include 3-4x1st rd picks + 1-2x 2nd rd picks alongside Trayce Jackson-Davis, Kuminga, Moody, and GP2 to get both Lauri and him. His super low contract would be such a blessing for our salary cap though!!!
The trade you proposed slaughters our wing depth. You'd have to project significant strides/contributions from Waters and Gui. Realistically, we aren't in the running for Lauri. Everyone wants him and could offer better packages.
Terrible spacing. Wiggins/JK/Draymond/TJD? So 36 year old Steph is the only person in the lineup that you can count on to consistently make outside shots? No thanks.
as much as I wanna see curry’s final years being maximized with Lauri, I feel like we might regret letting go of Kuminga and Moody in the long term. Even if Lauri doesn’t get signed, i think we can still sleep a lil better knowing we picked up Melton, Anderson, and Hield. I’m kind of excited to see the 21 year olds develop into some stars over the next few years if we keep them. Also glad I found your channel. Clear, concise, and comprehensive takes. Instant sub. Frisco born and raised on this end too 🖖🏽
That would be the dream scenario of course, but it’s multiple other teams bidding for Lauri with competitive offers on the table, so if push comes to shove, and the choice is to either include JK or you don’t get Lauri, I’m including Jk
