No female artist ever has affected me in the same way - her whole soul was in her singing, her rapping, her swag, her intelligence, her presence. It's why after she walked away she left such a huge hole for so long that no one has been able to fill and everyone feels it. Incredible reaction ;) You have to do Fugees - The Score it's just as monumental.

This was the first album I ever bought when I was 12 years old. It was deeply affecting then and as I grew the album grew with me, the subtleties and wisdom and knowledge being unlocked as I matured. Lauryn is in my top 5 all time. If you haven't heard her MTV Unplugged album check it out--it has some of her finest, most dense verses and it's an imperfect but beautiful and emotional album. One of the greatest artists hip hop ever produced.
This album will still be playing when we’re all long gone. I first heard it when I was 16 and I’m 44 and it still one of the greatest I’ve ever heard start to finish 💯💪🏽

Yo, You really gotta do The Fugees album "The Score". Lauryn Hill, Wyclef jean, and Pras. Lauryn was mainly a rapper thru their first album and then on the score she was singing a bit more, but she is an MC. That album is a Classic!!
This is one of my all-time favorite albums! I think you'd enjoy the artist, Donnie. When you get a chance check out his album, "The Colored Section." Even if you don't do a reaction to it, just to see how you like it. It's another of my all-time favorite albums, and it came out a few years after "The Miseducation . . ."
