i was mad when he used a vaporize team because in order for lavawalker to work, you need constant pyro application.

this would have worked with mono pyro hu tao since the pyro aura has to be on the enemies for the 4 set to activate. as such, mono pyro teams work well with it as well as melt/vape characters like childe, rosaria etc. It's not about whether lavawalker or crimson is better, because they essentially have different functions. It is about the funky builds we can do. Maybe take some time to think about the phrases "affected by X element" and which reactions or non-reactions could work with them. Maybe you can do a follow-up video with mono pyro hu tao and other characters that trigger melt and vaporise that arent pyro element. Additionally, I think a funky idea (since you have c6 bennett) is a mono pyro xinyan.

Lavawalker doesn't work well with vape Hutao unfortunately. This set is only worth it if you wanna play mono Pyro

your lavawalker set is not wasted! its a very good set for mono pyro units, like Klee, pyro xinyan (with c6 bennett) and sometimes yoimiya, and its also insane on hydro/cryo units that can vape/melt, like burst nuke childe and reverse melt kaeya/rosaria. Hu Tao is able to vape her every hit so she doesnt benefit from mono pyro that much

Lavawalker is for 1 unit I swear and that's klee, she applies so much pyro that the bonus is pretty much always active.

For the team you should use Hu Tao,Kazuha,Bennet and Zhongli(or Xiangling)

There is a fun reverse melt build for Kaeya that uses Lavawalker, you use klee's burst to keep a constant pyro aura on the enemy which allows Kaeya's burst to proc melt with the boost from Lavawalker.

That dragging the artifacts to select them all in the strongbox thing is relatively new, got added in like 3.3 or 3.4, it's very handy.

Burning teams can use lavawalker. You can put that set on a XL or Klee with anemo grouper, dendro applier (probably nahida) and Bennett. I actually enjoy playing this team comp as it has a lot of dps with the burning dot

I wouldn't say that lavawalker Hu Tao is great because vape is so broken, but the lavawalker set can be really great on klee. she applies too much pyro to vape consistently so the 4-piece buff is going to be consistently active

Lavawalker is good only in mono pyro or reverse melt comps, since you need pyro aura on enemy for passive to be active. Not sure these are the teams hu tao would usually see usage in so maybe its not really an optimal set for her.

for mono fire dmg, its important to actually swirl your pyro for vv. hutao would require you to have a second pyro unit on your team since she cant swap off once you skill. as for your lava walker set it could still be potentially used like a reverse melt rosaria for example or a mono pyro burning team.

When I saw the title for the video I immediately thought "Oh please tell me he didn't :'(" Yeah Lavawalker is unfortunately useless for vaporize teams. But perhaps there's some hope! I wouldn't entirely trust the leaks, but it seems Dehya will not work well with Xinqiu or Yelan because of how her Burst works, so she probably won't be used in Vape teams. Maybe you can try a Lavawalker Dehya dps build when she releases?

Yes, lavawalker hu tao, or any of the pyro carrys, is a build supposed to go with mono pyro, that would be kazuha + benny + xiangling + any pyro carry (yoi and klee are the more popular ones).

I want to see a burning team with lavawalker, like how you use thundersoother with electrocharge.

They've updated Artifact selection for strongboxes in this update, which, I guess is cool, but I still have like 1200 unlocked artifacts from back when I didn't think that was worth my time

Lavawalker would be more viable to mono pyro Yoimiya (w/ benny, kazuha, yunjin) since it would synergises well with the said comp. I suggest you’d try that 😁😁

Lavawalker is basically either for: Mono Pyro Sub-Dps with Pyro Dps Main Dps with Sub-Pyro Dps So you either throw Witch on Hu Tao and Lavawalker on Yelan/Xing or you throw it on a Dps that reacts with Pyro, like the usual Ganyu + Xiangling.

It would have been nice to see hu tao with nahida for burning (+ they would still be affected by pyro and nahida would upgrade her elemental mastery)

Psst. Use that set on Rosaria. Lavawalker is an amazing set for reverse melt teams. Her, Bennett, Kaeya and Xiangling are a staple revmelt team.

its amazying that you raised this set. dehya the upcomming character scales with hp at c2 and only works in mono pyro teams. she can not do vaporise so this is a amazying set for her because she will have opponents applied with pyro all the time!!

I have my klee with lava walker and burning comp with nahida and yaoyao, its a fun comp that let you witness enemies dying from debuff

I thought about this myself before and the only real usecase I can see for this, however I havent tried the efficency is: C6 Xiangling with the 15% pyro boost + a buffer like kazuha + Bennet. (He's a bit iffy cause of the heal) Perhaps another character (or weapon) can apply a straight pyro dmg increase like xiangling but im way too f2p to know every possibility without doing the research.

I thought the lavawalker set was meant for monopyro teams? Maybe that's wrong so idk hu tao might not be the best to use this since she does more dmg with reactions.

moga, you should try lavawalker on a vaporize/melt nuke like mona, childe, etc or even a meme qiqi, it's surprisingly powerful on them

Dear moga, on a short note, lavawalker is not good for vape hu tao, it's good for mono pyro hu tao, because because lavawalker increased the damage against enemies "affected by pyro" but if u use a vape team, the pyro application will be minimal and you won't be getting much value. So here's a team for that Hu tao, kazuha, zhongli, and albedo.

Maybe you can try it with dendro only for the burning effect which is effected by pyro and 4pc of lavawalker set (Pyro/Dendro team)

You should try a mono pyro team, with benny and anemo

Lavawalker might be good on burning teams since you can actually utilize that pyro res or mono pyro teams

u can use lavawalker in reverse vaporize like a dps Xq or any character that benefits from pyro reaction

C6 Amber is a good partner for Hu Tao. She can apply the enemy with pyro for an anemo to swirl, gives a speed attack boost and it’ll get even better with Elegy.

you could try sth like a burn team with Bennet, hu tao, nahida and kazuha. This would give you the bonus dmg from lavawalker, pyro swirl, bennet atk buff as well as some bonus damage with nahida whose bonus dmg is triggert by kazuha swirling pyro thus her triggering burning. Should be at least somewhat decent with your lavawalker set

just an idea for a thought, swirl pyro with kazuha xiangling, then use xingqiu q and then dash w hu tao, IF the pyro sticks to the enemy the little hydro hits from xingqiu ( compared to kazuha's ult continusely swirling pyro and pyro from hu tao) then lavawalker would do you rlly good

Before we had so many hydro units, and before Shimenawa existed, this set wasn't terrible. There would have been a case where you needed your Xingqui on your other team, and so you use lava walker on Hutao. Now this isn't an issue because we have so many great Hydro units, and even Barbara and Mona now have more use cases.

according to current dehya leaks her best team comp would be mono pyro, so maybe you can use this set on her.

Lava walker hu tao would be useful in mono pyro team or 2 geo 2 pyro i can think of team like zhongli (for shild and resestint drop) , xangling( c6 gives enemy pyro ress drop when hit by guba ) ,kazuha (could be any other anemo with 4 pic vv shred), hu tao (dps) Ply zhongli in shild then xangling in e & q anemo swaral then hu tao

Actually you can try to use lavawalker to do a Nuke with tartaglia, i've seen many people use it, as you know chile needs to hit an enemy with pyro to nuke yk

You can always get an atk sands and switch it to yoimiya and do a mono pyro yoimiya

Hiya Moga! As a Yelan main with C1 R1 and 10/10/10 I find my best build for her is a broken set. Her split its 50/250 and only uses 2pc Hydro Hp Sands and a Crit Dmg Circlet :) She's one of the most flexible characters in Genshin to me and can work with a lot of sets including bloom yelan etc. I hope this helped! I'd love to see a DPS Yelan video one day!

use this set on xingqiu nuke build , so apply pyro into the enemies and use xingqiu E on them it will do alot of dmg , well the rotation will be like this (xingqiu ult + bennet ult+ 1 na to activate xingqiu burst and apply hydro+kazuha burst to swirl hydro and apply pyro bcz of bennet burst+klee c2 with ttds E + xingqiu E) it will do alooooot of dmg like fr you can 1 shot bosses i am an f2p and i did 600k with his E , btw use the 4 stars sword i dont remember the name of it lion's roar or something like that or mistsplitter if you have it

That's actually how my first Hu Tao build looked like. I prefarmed it even. Also I think it might be a good build for co-op

Use hutao with xiangling, specially c6 xiangling, for the pyro buff. I'd add maybe kazuha, sucrose or EM heizou as third slot and a non-reactive shielder like zhongli, or pyro shield like tankfei and xinyan, or just merge the applier/shield slots and use full hp thoma. You need constant pyro application for the proc

tbh now you can keep that lavawalker for some big vaporize nukes with hydro characters like tartaglia or mona

You can put that set on mona and do nuke showcase with her though

Maybe try using lavawalker on ganyu and make some kind of rev melt team.

I recommend using xiangling + hu tao + yelan + zhongli.....but u wouldn't be able to vaporize hu tao's atks...but yelan will get bonus...u can also use burning reaction to get benefit from the lavawalker passive

lava walker hu tao seems like it would be best in a burning/burgeon team. dendro eats alot of reactions and makes things extend often

Moga using Lavawalker set on a Double Hydro team when the entire point of Lavawalker is that it does more damage if the enemy has pyro on them is very funny. Hope he does a part 2 with mono pyro teams. Maybe trying out Klee and Yoi with Lavawalker

Maybe you must have mono pyro party setup with Toma Xianling + 1 but i doubt it would do more dmg than solid vape setup

Throw those Lavawalker pieces on a Melt ganyu, almost the same as Wanderer's but idk if your wanderers is as good

you can run lavawalker on burning team driver with kazuha + nahida, not exactly the best team but the set is kind of doing something at least

I think the it is probably good in hydro character Because if you want to do a vaporation you will need the enemy with pyro in it ( I didn't try it )

Yesterday i change my 2x gilded 2x chrimson to 4x gilded and my hu tao have around 20crit dmg less but have higher dmg probably if i have any hp sands it will be even better bcs 500em is probably overkill for her. And tip for you hu tao scale better with em sands if you are under 350em
