Great vid and thanks for posting. It is a very beautiful village. Lavenham town square was also the location for the witch burning scene in the 1968 film Witchfinder General. Yours is the only video of Lavenham on here where the history is explained. I clicked on about 15 others and they just had music blasting out without any commentary at all. Most with modern music. I love both music and history but sometimes both don't mix.

The peach coloured building next to the Angel pub was used in the film the 13 Chairs and Sharon Tate was filming inside there. This was one of Sharon Tates last films.

I saw the first posting of this video, just before we left for our trip to east anglia to visit family and it was well worth the over 1 hour journey even just for the village alone. The guildhall was fasinating, we did the family trail with our 5 year old and had great fun hunting for all the answers, we definitely took alot more information from there then we would normally have. No video or photos can do this beautiful village justice, it has to be seen in person!

Your explanation on the local history is all ways very entertaining and educational. From Love Joy, places Howard Marks one top smuggler Goodfella as they say. With Mazzy and you make for some of the best you tube channel. A tiny fox Mazzy is priceless : ).

There is a video clip on RU-vid of John and Yoko up at the Market Place then the camera is trained on them and you can hear my Grandad in the background saying "Looks like the Black Nuns visit Lavenham".
