I have a dog that went through CHOP for Lymphoma stage 3/4 aggressive and he's 5 & 1/2 years in remission. This is exciting

You and your dog are so fortunate. By chance were you told why your dog went to almost 6 years when the statistics say the average remission time is 6 to 12 months? Did you change the diet, or do something unusual you can share?

@@kerrysteele22 Yes we are very fortunate! Our oncologist is uncomfortable using the word cured, because less than 5% of dogs are actually considered cured (I think it's less than 5%) But, what we did during after & now, is holistic treatment as well. During chemo we were also seeing a Holistic vet besides my vet & the oncologist. We used cell rejuvenating supplements during, and at the end, we stopped those, and our dog went on We Qi and is still on it to this day. I believe this has helped him. He had a sibling diagnosed with the same type of lymphoma, went through 3 rounds of CHOP and died.

@@kerrysteele22 I forgot to add that we also stopped vaccinating. Our oncologist told us that we run the risk of our dog coming out of remission if we do, so we carry a letter of exemption from our vet

@@saraken9718 I'm looking at the bottle as I'm responding, the company name is Jing Tang the bottle says Concentrated Wei Qi booster herbal blends for dogs & cats. The ingredients are listed as: A proprietary blend of codonopsis root (Dang Shen) atraglas root (Huang Qi) dong quai root (Dang Gui) hedyotis (Bai Hua She She Cao), barbed skullcap (Ban Zhi Lian) scrophularia root (Xuan Shen) tangerine dried rind of mature fruit (Chen Pi) Indera tuber(Wu Yao) 500 mg
