A real world demonstration of each of these proposed actions (especially the calls, with actual responses from the actual recipient of the call) would have been priceless. At the very least, it would show that it works.
The “cold calling” to a former client is not a good idea. This tells the client how desperate you are. As a lawyer, you need to maintain a certain level of dignity for people to respect you. In other words, don’t be an ambulance chaser, everyone hates those lawyers.
@@DaveLorenzo As a lawyer in your profession, is that really the reason you’re calling? We all know that’s not it, we all know that you want your next job. I perfectly understand that tactic, so please don’t try to phrase it like you truly care and have the time to call up every client and see how they’re doing. If they’re a friend or a relative, then for sure, but if you’re a busy lawyer with many clients, i’ll guarantee that no lawyer will do that unless there is a financial motive. Say what you believe, but be realistic.
