I don't get any benefit or joy from advaita. I get joy from devotion to Goddess. Sri Ramakrishna said that bhakti and Tantra are the main paths for this age , not advaita. They completely hijacked and distorted Ramakrishna's teachings. There were tantril sects who did not accept law of karma

So don't make such statements. Pujas like Durga Kali happens too. Your problem is you want to paint everything in your own preferable way, you want everybody and every Swami to teach only Bhakti, which again is biasness. Again, have you even watched Swami Sarvapriyananda's lectures on Bhakti Yoga.

If Turiyam is a not involved in Karma, and it is eternal then who takes re-births and bear the fruit of past karma? Both body & mind are destroyed after death.

Lord lies and there is no law of karma

Dharma and karma are two different things. Dharma is the balance, natural flow of things or conduct while karma are the deeds which affects you. When most of the mankind moves towards disorderly conduct, lord appears to again establish order in society, but that doesn't mean all the disorderly conduct of mankind have surpassed Karma, all the people will get their karmic results also.

@daniel barucha Energy (universe) is very much real even though creation/sustenance/dissolution cycle happens. Ever heard of first law of thermodynamics? Energy can be neither created nor destroyed but can change from one form to another. Advaita is INCOMPLETE without Dvaita - universe (which has duality everywhere mediated by consciousness or shiva). In other words, without shiva there is no shakthi (energy/universe) and without shakthi there is no shiva. Both shiva and shakthi cannot exist without each other. Moksha is nothing but to become one with the cosmos.

Body vs states of Mind Sthoolashareera - with physical body during wakeup (Jagrit avastha) Sookshma shatters - body in dream State - swapnavatha Kaaran shareera - causal body - body in Deep sleep. Turiya - existence of self as background of all the other 3 states and it is the one who is witnessing experiences through other bodies. 'I' is most of the times attached to limitations of body and mind of jagrit avastha. Identifying the presence of the turiya (throughout) & representation from there is 'expression of enlightenment' Till now this is what I understand from videos of Guruji and other readings in addition to some rare experiences dreams linked to news from relatives!! I request you to comment on a Q I have (may not be exactly topical, but closely related at least) - It is said, - "........ Jiva is the mind super imposed on the atman, / or the atman identified with the mind. ..........jiva is the one that attains moksha because the atman is ever liberated in all eternity......". From this, is it correct to say the karana sareera / causal body can be equated with jiva ? Is it the same as the concept of "avyaktam"... the "blankness" of deep sleep (is that correct?) ? When the deep sleeper doesn't know anything, and but when he is asked, "who didn't know anything?", and he answers, "I didnt' know anything" or better still "I knew nothing", the "I" who answers to that question..... (not the thinking I because in deep sleep there is no thought). Thanks in advance.

Can u plz answer my one question?? I hv been suffering from mental severe problems from past 15 years ..i know that it is my karma but when this problem started to me i was having vulgar thoughts about our kuldevi and other gods also so does it become more severe due to those intrusive thoughts .. i mean does kuldevi is punishing me ??

Neetu Carpenter this is the part many people have it wrong, karma originally means work. The work you do by thoughts, by emotions, by energy and by action. These are all in your hands. The karma you are talking about is the law which comes as a result or consequence of the past karma. We call this phala. You don't need to be worried of such things. Whatever that happens to you may not be in your control, but what happens with you is completely under your control. If you learn to manage your karma appropriately as per situation demands and act responsibly then it won't affect you. There are two karma's. The karma you do and the karma which acts as the universal law. One thing is in your hand. By controlling thoughts emotions energy actions, I do not mean to control it. What I mean was to handle it. Because the mind and body still exists within the universal so the soul or spirit also has a bondage if it does adharma. There is only one way to overcome this issue, that is to become responsible to dharma, which is understanding of the natural principles of your existence and the universe to bring about a balance

Neetu Carpenter yes, thats what we call as phala. It happens to you without your doing and influences you. You know how a boat easily sinks down the sea if even there is a small hole in it. Thats like that. This affects us because we aren't focusing on dharma. By dharma, the goal of dharma is jnyana and pursuit of it. Karma or our works are a part of it. The reason this happened is because you haven't yet taken responsibility of handling your spirit mind and body. Once you focus on that with effort then it'll not affect you much. Prayer is not an answer, that is only needed when we have done the dharma and then things become out of hands. When its still in our hands, then we shouldn't pray. Its our responsibility to act as such. Before we go to god, one should focus on their own dharma and karma, phala is with god. Why do you think he abandoned you? People are always like this, if things don't go the way they want, suddenly god has abandoned them. Its not like that, don't think that way. He's always here but people abandoned god. It has to be both ways, if he reaches out his hands we should also reach out our hands correctly. Otherwise no connection. Even right now, one is knowing and noticing their problems, isn't that a possibility for a solution?
