I read they shoot the episodes just weeks before airing them so they probably knew Belzer was about to pass so they wanted to honor him, before a funeral episode.

what is also erie is that i didn't watch the show for ages for whatever reason i put season 6 in as i own it on dvd and near the end of the season i have 2 episodes left i find out he passes that's a little erie i think

If they do a tribute episode for Munch on SVU, Since Fin and Olivia are there, they need to have Elliot, Cragen, Nick, Amanda, Alex, Casey and Barba as well as Amy (The Deaf Woman Munch tried to help back in Season 5) to pay their respects.

@@omarcogle1965 the deaf woman amy if you recall gave up her kidney so it's not likely she's alive since it was a kid she was giving her kidney too. But there is a lot of past characters that should come back and you shouldn't forget his homicide pals as well

@elizabeth7sj cause this show is trash. No, for real, how many more victims finna come after fin? This is like the 5th or 6th person to say Fin wasn't a good a cop and then he admits, " Yeah, vice wasn't my proudest time as a cop" like bruh go check on these people. Not to mention, Noah has a brother like do these people even do their jobs like Olivia you checked for family members right. I can't even tell if these stories connect cause they'll show someone sue the cops act like that's terrible, but now there's a cop on the show that sued his county for police neglect but goes right around n tell a rape victim "back the fuck off me" the show has gotten lazy with its writing

@vickyetienne2962 you sure someone said he died during this season n if he did why not make a munch episode? Why do Finn was a crooked cop in the past episode we know fin was a crooked cop and were supposed to believe they found the co n rapist in 1 night or he's the only victim or the fact a child got sent to prison n got assaulted n never got medical treatment I'm a nurse u don't hide medical records this episode was a huge conspiracy about the prison system n they just avoided that for a crappy ending about forgiveness n starting over wtf

i do agree many episodes have probably sucked ass i don't watch the newer seasons anymore, the writing consistence is going to shit in many of them, but Richard Belzer seems to have died just a few days after this episode was shot@@gaybitgaming4444
