You really never see her real smile on the show...she does that stare and the head tilt and shakes a little. Like Benson needs some meds to relax or take a vacation. The real Mariska is always silly and funny on talk shows. I remember when she was with her mom on Merv Griffin and all the kids had a pet with them. Of course, she's aged just like everyone else does but the point is that she looks incredibly fine and she definitely holds her own for a woman in her age group. Of course, it's not a big secret that she makes lots of money 💰 and it takes so much of it to stay beautiful in this over- inflated economy! I was sexually assaulted. I look to the show and Olivia when I need to feel seen and heard. The man that assaulted me got away with it. I was raped by an ex. The episode where Olivia goes undercover in a jail and that guy says "Don't bite me" I was eating supper, and I literally threw my fork down on my plate saying "No, not Olivia!" That's how I was raped and it came back in that scene. I love that woman! She is so awesome and great! I don't know what to say.. she's just the best!

An amazing, beautiful, articulate woman who not only has the longest running dramatic show in television history, but also has used her show and fame to help victims and survivors through her foundation. She also has gone to state and federal level to fight the backlogged rape kits so victims get the DNA kits tested immediately instead of waiting months or longer. She's an inspiration, a humanitarian, and one of the most beautiful women in the world!!! ❤❤❤God Bless you Mariska Hargitay ❤

One of my favorite lines is when a guy says: "I was just helping her up!" and Olivia says "With your penis?" 🤣 I love the replies she gives sometimes! There was another one where a guy has a pink phone and Olivia says: What, are you late for homeroom now?" or something like that since it was obviously a girl's phone. She's the best!! Not a quote, but I loved when she elbowed a guy in the face in one episode. 😁

I was sexually assaulted when I was 16 (now I'm 21) and I didn't say anything about it because the guy who did it was my friend. Mariska through her fantastic acting helped me a lot, I feel heard, I feel seen. I love her and all the SVU cast, thanks for helping us to get through this. And please, if you were/are a victim of S.A, speak. Because the pain will only get worse if you don't. As Olivia said "You survived the abuse, you're going to survive the recovery." ❤

Thank you so much for saying 1 in 6 men. Sooo many people out there have no idea how much it really does happen to men. Yes of course it happens to women much more, but thats more known, talked about, and shown on all forms of media. It's not as stigmatized as abuse/ assaulted done onto men. Men don't typically talk about such things and neither do the people that care about them.
