Seeing the Fifth Doctor with Martha Jones and Graham O’Brien, what a Doctor/Companion shake up. Of course watching this series, none of us would have imagined Bradley Walsh eventually starring in Doctor Who as a companion but I’m glad that happened.
My mom was watching this recently and I ended up watching a few episodes with her and I really liked it, I loved the intro and the show is great, but guess what MY MOM SKIPPED THE INTRO ALL THE TIME it was so sad lol
I've of course have never seen this Law & Order. I've seen only Law & Order original, Law & Order: SVU, a LITTLE BIT of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and never Law & Order: ,Organized, LA, Trial by Jury and True Crime. Although I want to but sadly Law & Order: UK isn't on tv or on demand.
I'm guessing the show's composer wanted to do their own thing. I would preferred if they did something similar, but different, the way all the spin-offs did.
I watched a few episodes on BBC America when I could. The network bounced it around alot. Learned a bit about British law, and British police work. I liked when I could find it.
I find it interesting that before jury deliberations in the UK, the judge can voice their own opinion about the case and suggest a verdict on the defendant. The jury doesn't have to rule according to the opinion of the judge, but they usually do.

Why is this shown in the US first? I appreciated that it's partly funded in the US, but it's a joke that a programme based in the UK is shown first on the 'other side of the pond'. Grrr!
@@HeyitsmeOakleyD *ITV* is in *America* under their *ITV Studios* (worldwide) brand, just like the *BBC* are under their *BBC Studios* (worldwide) brand, both of which predominantly run their international production and distribution operations, producing and distributing shows for each other (on TV channels, Streaming Services, DVD, Blu-ray etc), and other networks from around the world, when they're not producing or distributing stuff in the UK for their own channels, or rival channels like *ITV* does for the *BBC* and *Channel 4* a lot. *ITV* are the *biggest producers of shows in the UK,* and the *biggest producers of unscripted shows in the USA.* *ITV* also have news share deals with companies like *NBC* and *CNN.* *ITV Studios* finally closed their last international channel last year, most likely because they're focusing on expanding *BritBox* which they own 90% of in the UK, and 50% of outside the UK, to other countries like South Africa. I'm not sure what any of this has to do with my reply however, as most *ITV shows* are broadcast in the USA by companies like *PBS, Amazon, Acorn TV, SundanceTV* and now *BritBox,* with *BBC America* (which is an American company which is run by BBC Studios) getting very little. It still doesn't change the fact that all *ITV shows* are broadcast in the UK first, and the same goes for 99.99% of shows from other British networks.
