What made you choose law? Thinking of this road path or extending my graduation date in Berkeley by an extra semester to get enough intern experience through networking in business, IB, or consultant and hopefully land an offer and then, later on, go into law. What specific skill set or interest should one have to undergo the law path? Thanks.

You can really have any background and go to law school! People with arts/humanities degrees do it, but also a handful of STEM backgrounds also- it’s definitely a diverse field! Personally, I would not do an extra semester just to get more intern experience if you do not need the extra time to complete courses for a degree/double major etc. I would instead use the time applying to jobs to get the hands on experience. The average age of law students nowadays is mid-20s so students are taking years to get work experience and then go to law school!
