First Aussie 😁. Merrick ,Lucky you never stood on your other foot when you fell over , otherwise I would have had to get a translation of South African expletives. 😳😬
Isn’t the decision to catch your clippings or mulch back into the lawn based on the type of lawn? Broad leaf lawns tending towards catching unless you cut very frequently?
Love this channel bud. Also loved your comments (and frustrations) around bagging clippings. I have a rear discharge and I’ve built a quick frame at the back to make it a rear-side discharge (I just didn’t want to cut the deck of my new mower). Works like a bomb and I also rarely fertilise
Hi Merrick! Glad to hear you plan on renovating the KBG - looking forward to the videos! On that point, if my Kikuyu lawn is very uneven, can I scarify and renovate twice in a season? I did one already, early September, but all the bumps and divots aren't gone yet... please share some advice?
Not even necessary to scarify again. You can just keep adding soil to the low areas. Just give it time to grow through in-between the adding of sand or soil. You can do it multiple times per season.
Adorable. Carol you don't sprain an ankle! My neighbors are used to me looking ridiculous. I walk my cat in the moonlight, i walk my dog in pajamas.. this was nothing any less embarrassing. I've also stopped wearing a bra. My coworkers have to now dealw/it also.. They can just get over it. At least I'm trying! But i have no clue how to care for my lawn. :'(
Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Very informative. I now know I have to be an Olympic triathlon competitor in order to use these for any length of time. Also, pin holes are slightly better than nothing:)
