Beautiful card! I just purchased this die and am waiting for it to be delivered. This is the first time I've seen it in action. Thanks for making it seem fairly straightforward, even with the adaptations.
VERY creative Carissa!!! I admit that I was lost a couple of times, but I'm sure if I watch your video a few more times, it will all come together. It IS a lot to take in all at once, but not impossible to learn. Totally brilliant! Would love to see your hubby do the voiceover on this one! Lol!!! Have a blessed day.
Showing how to move the window is really a game changer for this die! The first thing I thought was why is there no option for moving the window! Thanks!
This is adorable. And you've hit on the exact reason I didn't order this wonderful interactive die--the high placement of the window. Your solution is fab! TFS!
This is a bit confusing to me as well, but I did understand what you were going for. I think for me at least that this was a bit more work than I would do.....BUT, with that being said, it's a lovely well put together card. I would do the extra steps with the phone and all. I do tend to stack die cuts as well. I think my brain would have given up with adjusting where the turn style and window were, but obviously it wouldn't have work out for me...lol Thanks so much. This was a fantastic card
Question ... could you tape the speech bubble part to the middle? I'm thinking the top (that normally is a guide to where to place in the base) will will show when ran through the die machine ... I do love how you shared your thought process, so we could try!
This is a very unusual die set and also very confusing at least for me. I did not understand what the end result you were heading for. I wish you would do a rather “plain” and straightforward and not modified wheel. I watched this twice and still could not get it. I could not understand what areas were debossed and why that mattered. I could not see the space between the lines. I am so sorry that I am so confused. I just think you introduced so many different options that I just gave up trying to understand what you were doing. Of course, this could just be me. Lovely project overall. I just don’t get it. I’m so sorry.
Alice Adler I showed the plain unaltered wheel at the beginning of the video. But if you want to see an entire card made with an unaltered wheel, you can check out this video I created for EllenHutson. com ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jjousFyRnCc.html
carissawiley i saw at the beginning twice but I was anxious to see it put all together. I will check out Ellen Hutson’s you tube for your video. Thank you. I think if I can figure this out, it would be a terrific die to have with multiple applications. It’s just me, Carissa, not understanding. Maybe I should order it and THEN follow along rather than try to understand without having it in front of me. Thank you very much for your kind response. I do follow & love your projects and you tube videos.
I’m using the Gemini Junior. The sandwich for die cutting with the Gemini is different than other machines. Cutting plate, paper, die, magnetic shim, plastic shim and another cutting plate.
