This really was accidental, it simply died so decided to let it suffer. Something strange was happening as I thaught after the first pop that would be it but, I was very wrong. It kept going until the enevetable dead short happened.
I have no idea, I diddnt put in a special fuse either. Tripped the 16a breaker a few times until it went dead short. Thermal cutout wasn't bypassed either.
