Nice video, however WD 40 is a water displaced solvent, meaning it not only removes water but also works as a oil removing solvent. After a short time the WD 40 will completely dissapate leaving the bare steel to rust. WD40 makes a rust preventative that leaves behind a sticky moisture resistant film that will work much better or even better there is product called Fluid Film that is used to undercoat cars in the rust belt that is truly amazing; just reapply every year. Another tip on these JD decks is the holes for the spindles can rust out. Fortunately there are reinforcement rings available that work to sandwich the deck between the ring and spindle that will increase the life of the deck. Be aware that many of the after market spindles are made with sealed bearings, which means the grease fittings can not grease the bearings unless you disassemble the spindles and remove the internal bearing seal. Finally best to only use OEM belts (as is on your mower), the aftermarket belts are often the wrong length, constantly jump the pulley and last less than half the time, if they work at all.
